We are new to the area, so we didn't have much energy usage history with SDGE for Bruce to go on. He used some rough estimates based on our previous home, he listened to us and our estimates of our possible usage here in CA, and he designed a system that was carefully thought out and reasonably sized, and that ended up very closely matching our energy needs. He mentioned some options for upgrades in the future (batteries, more panels if we needed more), but every conversation was about what would work best for us, and there was never any pressure to

San Diego Solar Install did a wonderful job getting the solar installed on my home.
Bruce is really passionate about solar and i never got the "salesman" vibe from him. He is super responsive and keeps you updated throughout the solar process from contracts and permits, to installation and inspection. The city took longer to approve paperwork due to the COVID-19 pandemic but Bruce kept me updated throughout the process which was a relief.
Brad got my panels installed over a couple days and they look beautiful. The jet black solaria panels are low profile and look slick.
These guys really care

I had a great experience with Bruce and his team at San Diego Solar Install. They were always super responsive, completed my job quickly, are very knowledgeable, and just nice people to work with. It took the inspector less than 5 minutes to sign off on the project because of the experience of this team. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to install solar.

San Diego Solar Install finished our solar today and did a great job in a ridiculously short amount of time. Started the process 8 days ago and now here they are. Learned about them from a friend and now I hope to pass the word on to someone else in the market. Their proposal was free and was done online so I didn’t have to deal with a salesman. Talked to four different companies throughout my shopping process and I feel I picked the right one. Incredible price for top notch equipment. Bruce is the owner and Brad is the installer, both good guys. I am looking forward to watching the production

Was not able to use this company due to our roof construction, we will need ground mount which he doesn't do. He was able to give me valuable information and guide me in the right direction. Didn't waste any of mine or his time in trying to sell me something. Was honest and liked the fact that I was able to immediately talk to someone that does the actual install, not a pushy sales person.

I have a 15-year old solar system and am experiencing a reduction in energy production. Although San Diego Solar does NOT support my system, Bruce recommended another company who does. In addition, Bruce very kindly provided some recommendations to evaluate/troubleshoot my system. I highly recommend San Diego Solar Install!!

Picking a solar installer is possibly one the hardest decision a home owner makes. Questions like am I getting the right panels, am I paying to much or is this thing ever going to work and you could go on and on. I found Bruce hear on google reviews and yelp and decided to give him a call based on his all 5 star ratings. I had a couple of bids already before so I just gave him my monthly electric usage and the system size that is being recommended. He came back with a quote that is very reasonable so I had asked him to come over and look things over in person to make sure everything checks out
