Services
Acme Moving is owned and operated by Paul and Sue Genter. We started moving furniture in Michigan in 1977 while going to college in Detroit, where I was an all-American in track and field. Several years later I decided to get into the moving business rather than become a teacher. I moved to Southern California in 1986 to peruse my dreams.
It certainly was a pleasure and a privilege to work with you in the moving of our synagogue. The enclosed is meant for you and your two good helpers who moved us on 7/20. Your service was prompt and well done and done with smiling faces and a pleasant attitude! This is a rare commodity these days and I do thank you - and does Sister Betty also.

We used ACME Movers to move my mom from the Casa retirement home in La Jolla to a home in San Diego, and they really wowed us with how professional they were. They called ahead and let us know they were on their way, and they worked extremely hard and fast moving her, wrapping things up and moving everything as if it were their own. They were so polite and happy. They left such a good impression that we have decided to use them again to help pack up my mom's garage for her move across country. Susie Q is a delight to work with, and her husband Paul is too, as is Mike. We would highly recommend

I knew from the first phone call into their office I wanted to hire Acme to help me move locally. Very kind, professional and good communication. The two guys showed up right on time, worked diligently without any breaks and everything arrived to my new home in tact and unharmed.
$120/hr was a bit higher than other quotes, but I felt good about supporting a local mom and pop shop, and the results speak for themselves. I was 100% satisfied, Acme Movers is a trust worthy company that is dependable.

The crew that packed our house were really good and Dave and Jesse, who made the trip to Arizona were exceptional. We really enjoyed working with them as well as Maurice and Robert. We had some last minute scheduling problems but, Robert worked with me and it all turned out perfectly.

I just used ACME last weekend for my move and was blown away with the service, speed of loading and unloading, the men who moved me and the respect they showed to me and my possessions. Yes there was no contract but that was not an issue for me, I heard about them from a friend whose family has used them multiple times and who was also thrilled with the service. Nothing was broken and no matter what I asked for it was "not a problem." Paul even loaded my car for me. Cannot say enough good things about them!

This is a horrible company to use for movers. They have no idea to run a business. No formal contract and the aren’t up front about what they charge. They also broke personal items and left so many items behind. Do not use this company for any type of move Big or small!! Very unprofessional, incompetent, and overall a pain to hire!!! The husband and wife have no business being in business.

I used Acme Moving multiple times for moving and packing. Three times for a house move, including packing, and once for a office move. They are the best of the best! The men were very careful and professional. They had all the tools they needed to make sure the move goes as smoothly and quickly as possible. Also, the owner Paul was present every single time and had a watchful eye over the entire move... where else can you get that kind of service?
