I’m sure they do great work based on the reviews they have, but they are lacking in communication when it comes to making it out to bid a project.
I had an appointment set up for Tuesday the 31st and got a text the night before saying that they wouldn’t be able to make it due to a rear window getting broken and needing to get it fixed. We rescheduled for the 6th at noon (Labor Day) and I even confirmed if he was sure for the 6th. He said yes no problem.
About an hour and a half before the appointment he asked if he could move the meeting back into the afternoon because he was running late

Great experience! Hard workers willing to please. Reasonable pricing and very flexible. The owner, Jeremy communicated often and was always willing to help make the projects work through. His employees Tony and Mike are thorough in there work, detailed oriented and very respectful of property. I personally enjoyed interacting with them. I highly recommend Backyard Landscaping!

I am new to the canyon lake area and was not prepared to understand how to landscape a very rocky uneven yard. Backyard landscaping helped me design a zeroscape front yard and back walkway. I can now easily move around my yard without falling and the yard is just beautiful with various contrasts being made with different type rocks and maintenance free plants. It made a world of difference and I’m very pleased.

I hired this landscaping company to place large boulders of mine on a slope in my yard and to create a sitting area above the slope. I spoke with Jeremy, the owner of the company. He assured me his "foreman is a stand up guy and very knowledgeable." After I asked many times about the ability of the landscaper to place the boulders in an safe, stable, and organically aesthic way. Artistic is how Jeremy described the forman. I gave Jeremy a very rough sketch of what I wanted my front yard to look like. He did his research and came back with the perfect computer rendering and then made it happen. He is open to discussion throughout the job and his staff is the best group of professionals you could want on your job: hardworking and a joy to work with. I looked forward to seeing them everyday. Was sent a questionnaire by the company so they could get an idea of what we wanted and how much we could spend. Received a phone call from them stating that our budget was not realistic for the work done and that they didnt want to "waste their time coming out there". If the man would have given me a chance to talk and tell him we could spend more than what we marked off on his questionnaire he may have gotten our business. But they just seemed too concerned about their precious time to even go out to our property to talk to us. Kept throwing numbers at me over the phone and how we aren't going
