Bamboo Paneling at Forever Bamboo is a cost-effective and eco-friendly way to add beauty and flare to your home or business. Each panel comes 4 feet tall by 8 feet wide and 1/8 inches thick. The malleable strips are 11/16 inches wide and can easily be cut to fit any specific space. In the past I've purchased several products from forever bamboo and backyard escapes. Up until the last experience I was a satisfied customer, but now it has become a nightmare. I ordered three palapa shade covers in May for a graduation party at my home in June. The Forever Bamboo website took the $518.00 payment and sent a confirmation, but when I logged into my Forever Bamboo account it stated that two of the item were no longer available. These two palapas total over $369.00. I immediately contacted their San Diego corporate office, and was told that the items were probably out of stock

Never again. I placed an order for bamboo poles and split bamboo. Extended delays, poor response to my inquiries of shipment status and the one response gave excuses of a backlog of orders with no further information. When the order finally arrived I could not have been more disappointed. Poles so badly split they were unusable. Half round splits broken into pieces so they were no quarter or eighth rounds. Predrilled pieces were also mixed in and everything was coated in some sticky syrup snd were filthy. Essentially the whole lot looked like it was dug out of a dumster to fulfill a backlogged

Contrary to what they say, their mexican thatch will stain whatever is under it, even after thoroughly washing it before installation as directed. My new, stencil-painted concrete patio has brown stains after the first rain from the resin in the thatch. I told them I couldn't power wash or chemically clean the patio because of the painted surface, yet their only response was that I should do just that. Very misleading and inaccurate product instructions, and poor customer service.

I've been really debating writing this review, but ultimately, I've decided to. It all started when I initially tried to place the order. I believe her name was Jackie? The staff there are extremely rude and have been throughout this entire process. Once this was all completed and I had this product installed, I followed the exact instructions that were on the website as well as what I was told by the representatives there to use the Australian timber oil in order to protect the bamboo. On Saturday April 20th 2019, I placed the order online directly. You'd think that would be good enough to process the order and get it shipping. Nope, a few days later 4-23-19, I receive an "estimate" including freight because one item didn't include free shipping. It stated that my order wouldn't be "processed" until I approved the estimate. Which I did immediately.
Then on 4-24-19 I receive an email stating there's a delay of 3-6 days to process the order because

Product Quality - 3 stars: It is really nice bamboo fencing. I am happy with the quality of the product. However, the fencing came as a mix of some 3/4", 1/2" and 1" bamboo (I've ordered a 3/4 inch and expected it all in the same size)

I ordered Mexican Palm Thatch from Forever Bamboo with the help of Dave. I called because I was inexperienced in determining exactly what sizes of material I should order to cover my 2 pole oval palapa. Dave was very helpful and even suggested I purchase a 60' x 36" roll of thatch in place of some smaller pieces to save some money.
The order was delivered very fast by FedEx and the material was exactly as ordered. I have now finished the DIY project and it was fairly easy and straight forward.

I recently moved to a new apartment with wall-to-wall carpeting. I practice yoga everyday, and I needed something to place over the carpet. I was looking for something stylish and made with natural materials. I was so thrilled to find that Forever Bamboo makes various sizes of lovely bamboo rugs! The product was decent. Not as good a quality as our last thatch. But their customer service is horrible. We ordered the stuff online and physically took it back to them. They charged a 30% restocking fee. That is HIGHWAY ROBBERY. I understand sometimes a 10% restocking fee. But to get 30% and the materials back is just bad business. I'll also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau just so people know about their lousy business practices....
