The future of the solar industry is here. We were once a small business with small business problems like difficulties hiring and training new employees, sizeable overhead expenses, and constantly changing regulations. Now our business has evolved to a direct sales model. We get to know you, figure out your needs, then design and quote the perfect system for you at an incredible price.
When you're ready, we have SunPower manage your project and install your system with their own employees. For the past decade, the solar industry has had many ups and downs (aptly known to insiders as "the solar-coaster"). So many installation companies have come and gone, voiding their workmanship warranty and leaving their customers with no one to call if they have a problem.
Our direct sales model is the perfect solution because the most bankable name in solar (SunPower) now provides both the workmanship warranty and product warranty to our clients. Also, by not having a warehouse, administrative staff, and a fleet of installers, we virtually eliminated our overhead and can pass that savings on to you.

Combining ultra high efficiency solar panels with factory integrated micro inverters for a true "AC" system. The revolutionary inverters are manufactured by SunPower and performance matched to our patented panel technology. These are the most robust and reliable micro inverters in the world and they have the warranty to prove it.
One thing we've learned, is that there's a lot of misinformation out there where it comes to solar. We find ourselves constantly setting the record straight, so below we've answered some of your most common questions in order to help you decide if solar power is right for you. It's less expensive to make your own power than to buy it somewhere else, just like it's cheaper to grow your own tomatoes.

I installed my solar almost 3 years ago. They are producing lower than expected 2 summers ago and much less than advertised this summer . I have been calling ProVoltz main number to evaluate this issues and a broken monitor - there is no response. I wonder if they are gone out of business . Is there a different phone #? Does anyone know?

The service provided by ProVoltz in installing our SunPower solar panels was great! Both times - the original installation and a few more panels later- service was quick and efficient. The monitoring system provided by SunPower unfortunately is completely unreliable, and ProVoltz apparently can't do anything about that.

My wife and I live in west San Jose. We are retired and at home most of the time. In October 2013 we selected ProVoltz, a Campbell based SunPower distributor to design and install a solar PV solution for our home.
Due to our age; comfort and expense reduction were our motivators for installing solar. My wife uses an electric heater under her desk during the day to reduce our central heater usage in the cold months. Doing so does not overheat our home, providing me a cooler retreat in other sections of the house. Additionally, being Hi-tech industry veterans, our PCs with extra monitors are typically

ProVoltz installed my 6000 kWh system in Alviso using top-of-the-line SunPower panels. They come prepared with supplies and tools for every part of the job so that they don't waste time with a lot of Home Depot runs. They worked on my house the way that I do; they take the time to do everything right. Their attention to detail is the best. For example, they paint the conduit to match the house paint. They prefer to run conduit through the attic, entering under the panels so that the roof looks nice and clean. They handled several special requests, such as mounting the monitor inside the house rather

ProVoltz recently finished up a 3.3kW install for my home in San Jose. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and professional. Everything was explained up front, in writing, including power generation and pay off periods.
They were a little backlogged so it was several weeks before the install crew could come out, but once they did the job was completed in just a few days. The crew put up with all my crazy questions and engineer's curiosity about how everything worked. They discovered an electrical code issue with my home that should have been fixed years ago(electrical bonding of water and gas

ProVoltz installed a solar system at my home April 2013 and ever since we have a PG&E electric bill of ZERO. There are no hidden monthly fees or any surprises. Based on my experience I have to say ProVoltz is the premier Solar installer in the Bay Area. Ash and crew install the best SunPower equipment and ensure you have a perfectly custom system based on your needs. The ProVoltz install team are all perfectionists, they treat your home as if it were their own, they take their time, and left the job looking better then when they started.
