We are pleased with you new home built by Thomsen Homes. Their process is very efficient and well organized. They paid much attention to detail on the final inspection. They are up-front and transparent about their building process. Their staff is knowledgeable. Darcy Riddle was our main point of contact and she did a great job.

Thomsen Homes has been fabulous to work with. While of course there have been minor issues after we moved in, they have a super handy and easy to use website along with an app, both of which are used to file warranty claims. For important things they respond quickly and send someone out to fix them. For minor things like paint issues, they’ll fix them all at once closer to the end of the warranty period. I’ve been greatly impressed by how they’ve handled these warranty claims.
All in all they’ve been fabulous to work with and I’d recommend them in a heartbeat!

Loved a model home that I saw in February and bought (to be built) within days. The home was ready earlier than anticipated and was immaculate and darn near perfect at the final inspection. The staff was accommodating, always helpful and honestly a dream to work with! The process was easy, they kept me on track with prompts for paperwork and such, and provided detailed informational tips for the move and connecting with utilities. I literally completed setting up all my new local accounts within 30 minutes. Thank you Thomsen Homes for the quality home you built just for me and the easy, worry-free

We built our home with Thomsen homes. We worked with the design team to pick out the style we wanted as well as make customizations and select all the finishes. Nate was a great asset throughout the process, keeping us in the loop with pricing in the beginning and timelines as our home was being built. Thomsen homes also gives back to the Grand Forks community in a variety of ways by donating money or hosting/sponsoring local events. I would highly recommend working with Thomsen homes.

Look elsewhere, we wish we trusted the 1 star reviews more. Josh in customer care constantly talks down to the homeowner like they have no idea what they are talking about.
If you end up with Thomsen I highly recommend brining your own relator not using their brokers, as after the sale is done so is the helpfulness.
you learn a lot about the Thomsen way living in the neighborhood and running into contractors that haven't been paid for their work apparently the most profitable way to run a business is to not pay subs.

Thomsen has been an absolute mess with trying to get our warranty work completed. I have been lied to and pushed off for nearly a year and a half just trying to get my grading around my house fixed. My grading has settled 8 inches or more on one whole side of my house and no matter how much we ask, we cannot get it fixed by them. All I keep hearing is that it will be happening soon. Incredibly disappointed with Thomsen’s warranty service. This has been a miserable experience.

We love our new home built by Thomsen Homes. We were out of state and they were so accommodating with our schedule when we flew in to go over any details with us. Also the way they worked with us to make it a senior living home customized just for us was great. After move in of course there are always a few things that might shift around as with any new build in Fargo but they have been very helpful and quick to get them resolved. We couldn't be happier! We have been moved in a month now and just Love it! I highly recommend them.

Office people are professional, but the builders have questionable ethics. Our experience started out ok, then went downhill quickly. Lack of communication and complaints from the builder about doing their job properly when shoddy work is called out. We discovered inadequate insulation in several areas of the home and flooring improperly installed. Another home in our neighborhood hadn't been properly dried out after the basement took on water during the building process and had to be bought back by Thomsen and resold after mold repair. There are many better places to buy a new home from than

We have owned 2 Thomsen Homes and recently built the second one. We had a great experience with everyone throughout the entire process, and they made building a home easier than we could have imaged. From modifying the floor plan to picking our interior/exterior selections, the team was very organized and accommodating, and we knew all the pricing that came with any changes we made upfront. The Thomsen team also worked well with our realtor as we were trying to sell our home, and they granted us the extra time we needed to close on our home and get into our new Thomsen home without any penalty

Best home builder in Fargo! We are a repeat customer and cannot say enough about their wonderful team! It really shows they truly care about us and every detail of our home! We got a custom home with beautiful craftsmanship for a very reasonable price! We looked at other builders but none could compare. Easy process, finished ahead of schedule and on budget!

Biggest bang for your buck for a newly constructed home. Love all they have to offer and the great people that help you build your home. I did a lot a research on builders in Fargo and decided to go with Thomsen Homes after seeing all they had to choose from. I will be recommending Thompsen Homes to my friends and family!

Thomsen homes thrives in cutting corners. Poorly put together homes, lack of quality, lack of craftsmanship, lack of communication, lack of customer service, and lack of professionalism. I had a list a mile long of repairs needed after I moved in. A coworker and a relative went Thomsen as well, same results. I'd go Eid-co before Thomsen, that says a lot.
