Asphalt shingles are composed of a base material - organic felt or glass-fiber mat that provides support for the weather-resistant components that give asphalt shingle's strength. Asphalt, fillers and surfacing materials in the form of shingle granules provide protection from impact, uv degradation and improve fire resistance.
Built-Up Roofing membranes referred to by the acronym BUR, have been in use in the U.S. for more than 100 years. Built-Up roof systems are constructed with layers of felt and bitumen (either asphalt or coal tar pitch) that are applied hot and left to cool. They are then covered with gravel, a mineral sheet cap, or other weather resistant coatings.

I am confused by all the 5-star reviews. Perhaps they do a better job for residential customers? Maybe it was because I was an out-of-town customer? I don’t know the answer. I just know they did a horrible job on one of my roofs. Every time it rains or snows, I have to push water off my flat roof, which supposedly has a slight slant for drainage. When I called Jeff to discuss it, he said “some ponding is to be expected”. I don’t think 1400 gallons of water is considered “ponding”, but I’m not a roofer. Then he got snippy because I called him directly, despite the fact that he gave

Alpine Roofing was great to work with. They answered all our questions, made sure everything was done correctly and took care of business. We had some last minute things go wrong (as any job can) but the owner of the company personally made sure we had everything we needed and worked seamlessly with out insurance agent.

Best roofing team in DFW! Best quality. Best value and most responsive owner/team! Do your homework, please. I bought a large house 8 years ago with a brand new roof with the highest quality materials which looked fine on inspection but was nothing but problems because of the installation. I went through 3 more roofers that couldn’t fix my problems. I talked with 4 more highly recommended companies before I replaced the entire roof with Jeff and Alpine roofing. I finally made the right choice! There are a lot of bad roofers out there and then there are good, knowledgeable roofers that will charge

Ray has been awesome to work with! Insurance only gave us $13K and he fought with the insurance to get us $25k.
Great professionalism, honest, and hard working guys. Really refreshing in this day and age, especially when we were hosed over by our old roofer. They found places where our old roofer cut corners and fixed them for us. Will work with them again!

I had damage to my roof from 2 huge branches of an oak tree which had caused leaks in my dining room. Alpine Roofing - Raymond Dean - came out and gave me an estimate including interior repairs. After some back and forth with my insurance company, we got it approved. The roofing crew came out and repaired and replaced the roof in one day! Then another crew came out on another day and did the interior repairs. I am very happy with the results and would recommend them for anyone needing similar work done.

Great company to work with, super fast and reliable service! We ran into a snag during installation (due to previous roofer) but Alpine was extremely helpful and help guide us through. They handled everything with insurance and even caught a few items that the insurance adjuster missed. Ray & Brandon were delightful to work with. Yard was left cleaner than when they arrived. 100% will work with again!

Our insurance company recommended Alpine Roofing. What a great decision. From quote to clean up these folks did everything right. Accurate pricing, worked with the insurance company easily, answered phone calls, showed up on time and did it right. Even the clean up was perfect, my yard looked better when they left then before they arrived. I highly recommend Alpine Roofing.

ARC is the best roofer that I have ever experienced! Jeff and Brandon could not have been more professional and attentive. They were clear in their communications so I knew exactly what to expect and when. They were patient and answered my many questions providing pictures and hands-on explanations, as needed. They actively followed up with me to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work, which I am. I couldn't be more pleased with our beautiful, leak-free, new roof.

I recently used Alpine Roofing Construction for a roof replacement on my house. I have to say Jeff the owner came by and immediately I felt that I was in good hands. I was prepared to ask a lot of questions and almost all of them were answered as Jeff and myself were doing a walk around. My house had multiple roof structures that needed to be completed.
