Installation was very well done with a high level of attention to detail. However, installation took longer than expected due to an unexpected problem.

We are so thrilled with our new floors! We worked with the Unique Wood Floors team to update the flooring on our entire main level. The UWF team helped us pick out floors that we not only love visually, but that will last for years to come. From flooring selection through project estimating and installation, our experience was exceptional every step of the way. All-in-all, the wood flooring we picked is beautiful and the final product we received is worth it. The sales team was wonderful and very helpful with getting our flooring ordered and delivered as quickly as possible. However, the project manager's proposed plan for our stairs was unheard of and completely unacceptable and we ended up having to hire a proper carpenter to complete the stairs separately. The phrasing used was that they "would make something work". If you have no idea what good quality work is and are fine with throwing away thousands of dollars for a weird job on the

This review is based only on service. My local flooring company/installers and contractor were just unable to figure out a sturdy, good-looking transition piece between the new laminate they had laid and the new carpet. We are talking months and several failed attempts for a transition we cross over dozens of times a day. No one had any samples or transitions to try out - and it felt like they just couldn't be bothered with something so small. It was so frustrating! Jim, our Project Manager, provided excellent customer service from beginning to final walk-through. They worked within our timelines, were professional, and efficient. We were lucky enough to check out the Hopkins Unique Wood Floors before buying our flooring. Bobby was not pushy at all but helpful, friendly and very informative. He taught us what to look for in quality engineered hardwood. With that knowledge we checked out another couple flooring stores but found their products were no where near the quality of Unique Wood Floors for the same price. Now that the floor is down, (we nailed it ourselves) we couldn't be happier with it!

We had our engineered wood floors installed about 3 weeks ago. We love the product and quality of the floors, but are quite disappointed with how the installation went. There was no communication from Unique Wood Floors during the process and they did not follow up with us how things went. We had to call them on the last day because we were concerned about several things. It would have been appreciated to have been shown some more customer service and care from them.
