I call, and I call, and I call. Only to have my calls unanswered ever. Yes, I am calling during business hours. I was left a voicemail to tell me my rent is overdue and my unit is eligible for auction, I was given a number to call to get everything taken care of. So of course I call to get it paid as soon as possible but surprise! The number is out of service! So I call the office number several times, days in a row only for my calls to be unanswered. I am also unable to leave a message and the line goes dead. If this continues, not only is it extremely poor customer service but is going to cause

"I tried to call during business hours (no answer) and even drove directly to its location, but no one answered the door either."
Edit: they got back to me today (1 day later). The guy in the VM sounded very upbeat and nice, and he clarified that the storage facility is managed remotely. That said, he got back to me a bit too late. Instead of receiving the promotion of $1 for the first month, I had to go elsewhere and pay $70 (in fees alone). This led to a pretty poor experience overall.

Horrible Experience under new ownership, they keep raising rate and now a BREAK IN! Previous ownership was awesome and we were loyal for many years with no issues. NOW, it is one thing after the other and we are horribly violated in several ways! DO NOT RENT HERE!!

My friend and I chose Basic Storage based on location, access hours and their low rates. I reserved a unit online, which was painless. I received a reminder call Saturday morning from one of the helpful employees. We showed up just about 30 minutes before they closed. The employee who was behind the counter was very nice and I rushed. He even waited while we ran to the atm to clear up a debit card d issue. I am very impressed with Basic Storage and highly recommend them.

I'm a new customer, but so far service and facilities have exceeded my expectations. Getting started was very expedient and hassle free. The staff is hands off and gives the flexibility and freedom to maneuver as I please when it comes to accessing my unit and using the facilities. I also like the level of security provided, so I am never worried about my property. Thank you Basic Storage!!!!!!!!

Upon arrival on a Saturday morning, a staff member showed up late without the keys to his office. Before he could get back the owner had come to unlock the office and proceeded to set me up with my reserved unit. He was very apologetic and offered a set of locks for my inconvienince and set me up in my reserved unit accordingly. A month later he called about a missed payment but promptly waived it when I had explained I paid in advance in person and had my stuff out within the first month. My initial impression wasn't great, but good customer changed that. Very convenient location, secure hours
