I called this company to check my ac that was just blowing room air. They sent an elderly guy who wasn't friendly at all. I didn't care about his attitude much but when he lied to me, I got concerned and decided to write this review so others can be aware when they contract this company. He found out that my capacitor was out and he told me that he was going to get it himself from a store in Allen for $200. Recently our AC units and 2 compressors went out and after obtaining several estimates, we found that Mathis Air & Heat were the most honest and caring. Matt came out initially and checked the systems and seemed very caring regarding our needs. He wasn't concerned about only replacing the entire systems, but gave us more options to help us decide what was the best alternatives and how it would be more economical in the long run. I had to get a whole new system replaced in my new home. Everyone on the team was great. Christie was nice and patient with me. She had great communication the entire time. She gave me options and broke everything down for me. She even worked to get my new system installed ASAP, especially having a 4 week old in a house with no AC. Kerry also did a great job. The team at Mathis was by far the most professional of all of the 4 companies we considered when replacing our HVAC system, from the owners (Matt and Christi), the salesman, to the techs. We received quotes ranging from the company that regularly advertises on TV to a smaller start up. Mathis pricing was fair and competitive. Plus, they gave us confidence in their knowledge. We highly recommend them for your HVAC needs. We will be signing a yearly maintenance agreement with them as well.

After getting over 4 quotes on a new AC unit I chose Mathis. They were referred to me by my mortgage broker and I can see why. Matt, Christi (Owners) and their team are simply incredible! Very professional, prompt, responsive, accomodating and flexible on coming up with alternatives to help you meet your budget. While they were the lowest of the 4 quotes I received. They were mid range. But they way I have found things is you get what you pay for. You either pay upfront or on the back end (with problems). With Mathis AC you get everything and more!
