After owning and operating a successful tire business in Henderson, NC, brothers Phillip and Curtis White had a vision. They realized folks in the Raleigh, NC area -- especially those with credit challenges -- needed a way to get affordable, pre-owned vehicles with financing to pay for them. At the time, there weren't many dealerships offering this type of service.
AutoMax is not like traditional used car dealerships! We understand the importance of sticking to your monthly budget.
This guide shows customers what the down payment and biweekly payments would be and are meant to be used when the customer is considering affordability. Down payments listed are with approved credit only and include sales tax, license fee, registration fee and a $299 document fee. All financing is offered at 24.99% annual percentage rate (APR) regardless of term, down payment and customers credit score.

Just went through these guys to get a car!! After time after time and trouble to get a approval on a car. I was greatly able to purchase a vehicle with auto max. Acceptable low down payments and great service on the vehicle and not only I was approved they gave the upmost best costumer service ever since day one when I called and asked about a vehicle. Even the process of understanding the documents and everything was A-1 yes it’s boring but I knew stuff about the vehicle I’ve never known before after going over everything. Went there to look at a nice Mazda they had. The car was in great shape and the staff was ok. I thought I had a good deal until I found out that they were asking almost $11,000 for a $6,000 car. When I asked why they were so far off they mark they pretended they had never heard of KBB and pointed to some foolish warranty they give with all their cars.
