Determine design criteria: size of home, number of stories, style, number of rooms, finishes, etc. Meet as required until preliminary design and estimate are consistent with client's desires. Finalize completed engineered construction drawings including first floor, second floor, all elevations, lighting and electrical plans, interior cross sections, foundation design and site plan.
Tearing down a house might be easier than trying to fix-up a home that has completely deteriorated. It's also less expensive than, say, moving a home to another lot. I have not personally worked with Sterling, but I work near them and every single interaction with this exceptional staff has been more that professional. They have a beautiful showroom with a plethora of material samples. I have worked with many custom home builders as an appraiser. Never have I offered to write a review for one of them. However, Sterling Custom Homes is one of the most detailed, thorough and knowledgeable builders out there. Their quality of work is one of the highest I have ever seen .
