Pretty disappointed in their service and lack of communication. I had a pretty minor fix for an ice machine. The closest site visit was about 8 days from my initial call. The technician came to the house, said he didn't have the parts, and would call me. I never received a call and had to keep asking. 5 days after the initial failed site visit, I had to remind them to let me know (twice) what the status was on the parts. 11 days from the initial call and no repair or communication.

I reached out to the Fix It Guy this week regarding our Bosch dishwasher. The door on the dishwasher would not close. Bobby starts to triage the problem over the phone. He coaches me on a potential repair over the phone. He encourages me to repair my dishwasher, with his guidance.
His solution worked, there was no charge for his time a or guidance. That's correct: he diagnosed my problem, walked me through a fix and there was NO CHARGE for his time and expertise. Not sure what else I can say.

Bobby from fix it guy is the best. I was pretty sure that my fuse on my dishwasher had blown after having tried some other troubleshooting measures. Admitting defeat and not being the handiest of people I found the fix-it guy from a simple Google search and called. I spoke to Bobby on the phone who gave me two simple fixes before coming out to take a look and low and behold a simple flip of a switch that I thought did nothing turned on the machine. I needed help with a broken dryer and was worried a repairman would be unreasonably expensive. They sent a guy out who was super helpful and explained exactly what was wrong. He fixed it promptly, it was reasonably priced, they had great communication, and he was very respectful of COVID, wearing a mask and putting on shoe protectors when he walked through my house. I know in the future I'll be calling them!

Would have given them zero starts if possible. Be warned: they DON'T OFFER EMERGENCY REPAIRS. This information is not on their web page. I waited around for hours before they gave an appointment date by text. I did describe the problem on initial contact. Seems like they didn't pay much attention to that.
Gotta wonder - if they can't read a text for info, can they do a good job repairing complicated stuff?

I called about an issue with my dishwasher. They called me back quickly and asked for photos. Within 5 min, they sent me links to the pieces I needed to buy, walked me step by step through the install and told me I didn't need them to come out. Great service with no expectation of payment. 10/10! We had a broken dishwasher as well as a gasket that needed to be replaced in a washer. I had actually called both Fix-It Guy & Act Fast Appliance Repair and initially went with Act Fast as they were cheaper. However.... you get what you pay for. And so fast forward to a month later we then called Fix-It Guy to do the job that Act Fast couldn't. We got a quote from Fix-It guy in fixing an appliance, and it was way over $500. They said two men were needed for the job and their labor charge was $400. The owner of the company was in the house when they gave us a quote, and he gave us the exact reason why they needed two men for the job. It was because the appliance needed to be taken out completely because it was only accessible from the back of the appliance and at least two people are needed to do it safely.
We had to pay $85 to even get a quote from Fix-It Guy. However, since the quote was higher than our expectation, we got another quote

Finally getting around to reviewing this business. Mixed feelings. They came to fix my old stackable unit because of a horrible squeal on spin cycle. I paid for new belt and service. As soon as I did my first load, it happened again. Called them back. They changed out something else and left. Happened again. Called them back a third time. I think it was fixed but I closed on my home and left them the receipts in case it happened again.

Justin came at the early part of the allotted time window and was friendly and professional. He was able to diagnosis and repair my dishwasher (which was not draining) in about an hour. He was transparent and honest when diagnosing the issue. He tested to make sure everything worked properly after the issue was repaired. He wore a mask the entire time (this repair happened during covid), kept the workspace area clean, and explained the costs and labor warranty coverage clearly. I will definitely use this company again for any future appliance issues I have.

I have used these guys several times over the last few years. They always gave great service and even better advice. It is important to mention that every one that I spoke with or came in my home were not only professional but very personable. Having a major appliance broken is a major pain. Having good people to guide you through the repair or replacement makes it feel a lot better.

Called this morning with a what I thought was a broken dryer.. they set me up with an appointment right away .
The repair guy called and asked for a model number so he can pick up the part prior to getting to my house.
Low and behold Reggie had arrived & he took the dryer apart ...there was nothing wrong with it ?! Maybe off track ? He could've easily said there was something wrong just to charge for parts and labor but he didn't he was very professional and very funny!
I would definitely recommend this company!!

We thought we would have to buy a new fridge. But I called around to see if anyone could fix an annoying Samsung fridge. Most repair companies will not touch Samsung fridges. Bobby explained what the issue was, and what needed to be done. He ordered the parts, came over and repaired the fridge. He even noticed it needed something additional he did not quote us. He ordered it and came back later that day to install it. It's been over a month now, and its basically a brand new fridge. Do not hesitate to call these guys. Fix it guy sent out a technician in Nov. 2019 to repair my tenant's refrigerator that was leaking water. He informed me that a new controller was needed. He ordered the part and replaced it.
