That Guy Appliance Services

No response in weeks and I still have a dishwasher that leaks. Brian was really nice on first visit but his fix did not work and he is yet to return my calls or emails. I have no idea why he is yet to return a phone call or text back. Very strange to me but unless he can resolve his unfinished work, I would not ever recommend him or his services.

Called and got scheduled for same day service for my broken oven! What I thought would be a headache, "The Guy Appliance" made simple and stress free! Brian was in constant communication with me via text to let me know when he was arriving and was professional, polite and didn't cost an arm and a leg! He had the replacement part on hand and was in and out within 30 minutes. I highly recommend him and his services.

He disassembled my dryer fully and left it that way for a full week while he waited on a part to come in. He made a case for a replacement heating element, even though ours was not broken! It was old and he scared us into replacing it. A week later he came back and installed the part and the dryer worked. Then within one week, it broke again the same way, tumbling but not blowing hot air. So we called, as he had assured us he'd help again if we needed him. Nope, he ducked every call, refused to return any response at all, even a message stating he didn't want to fix it, nothing. So be ware, he

Undependable!!!! I confirmed that he would be at my house today at noon to repair my dishwasher, so I took off work. Did not show up or let me know that not only would he not be here, but they are closed until November 8th!!!
They even sent me a text to get my name so they could go ahead and fill out the invoice.
I've called and texted but have had no response. I understand that things happen, but leaving a customer hanging on a workday in the middle of the week is inconsiderate and unprofessional.
They don't deserve any stars, but I had to give one so I could post this review.

I first called him when my dryer went out he came and fixed it. I chose him due to his transparency he quoted me a price to fix a heating element over the phone quick and direct. I was pleased it turned out to be a Fuse and not the element. It worked a month or two later dryer isn't heating again. I don't think it's his fault so not looking for warranty repair or anything like that I call and text as the website suggests. No response I'm persistent because I like to work with people I've worked with before. He doesn't respond I finally get a text back says he can come on a Thursday I said great

Our washing machine quit on us when a part went bad. Brian was very responsive, professional, and effective. Added bonus, he instantly solved another appliance mystery we couldn't figure out ourselves right there on the spot.

I needed someone to inspect our appliances after our kitchen flooded. Brian was punctual, communicative, and friendly. After our appointment, I had the paperwork I needed, accurately and thoroughly completed, for the insurance claim. I’m very impressed with his operation and will be using him again if I ever need to.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Brian was prompt and courteous. Just moved into a new home the summer 2020. Bought a gas dryer that needed to be installed and connected to the gas line. The store where purchased did not connect gas dryers. He was able to work us into his schedule the same day we called. The dryer needed a specific part. Brian went and bought that part and did not charge for this. Proud to support a Veteran that served our country.

I called Brian on a Monday morning before 9 am. Within 5 minutes I was on his schedule to come out at 2pm that afternoon to diagnose my leaking washing machine.
Brian is a class act guy. He showed up when he said he would, actually a little ahead of schedule. He was straightforward and very professional. His prices are extremely reasonable as well.
I will definitely be calling Brian again in the future for any of my appliance needs. If you're looking to support a small business, Brian is the way to go.
