I would definitely recommend Pearce Heating. They are very knowledgeable regarding our furnace. We have used Pearce for the last fifteen years for either a service or a cleaning check-up. They are friendly and courteous. I have had issues with my relatively new heater and air conditioner - neither originally installed by Pearce.
These guys went above and beyond to fix our furnace a year ago. Claire even told us it may only last another year. Sure enough, the furnace went out a year later and Claire came out same day with a competitive quote on a much higher quality furnace. They had it installed the very next day. This is not the first time I have worked with Pearce. This latest job was the installation of central air conditioning. I have been very, very happy with everything. I couldn't be more pleased. They are reliable and responsive and obviously concerned about making sure everything is done perfectly. (It was!) They're all personable and it was a pleasure having them here. I highly recommend them. You can't go wrong.

No heat early in Christmas week as Seattle-area cold weather (teens-20's) threatened within a week. Called Tuesday around 5pm, Bill came out Wednesday at 8am, diagnosed, offered alternatives -- and by Thursday AM at 9am, a *5-person* crew arrived, installed a new hi-efficiency heater (Thanks Travis and Tim, James, Peter and Cole!), and finished strong Start to finish, outstanding professionalism: let us know what was going to happen, followed through, answered questions, took care of permitting and registration of new unit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

For us the true test was when our furnace went down two winters ago on a frigid Friday night. We left a message with Pearce that evening while Seattle and the Eastside experienced one of those snow storms disabling the city. We did not expect hearing from anybody until Monday.
Saturday morning at 10:00 am, Clair, with Pearce Heating rings our doorbell after his trip from home with his 4 wheel drive auto. Our heat was restored by lunch time.

Our experience started with Brian Pearce who met us on site. Most other companies were out 1-2 months just to get an estimate. Brian was out within a few days of calling and provided a good competitive bid. His level of experience and personal care in meeting his customers was what immediately brought us to the decision to use Pearce.
The installation by Mike Anderson and his tech team ( Travis and Diego) was a full five star job taking a high level of care to protect us and their crew from any Covid issues while ensuring our home was protected from foot traffic and construction related work.

Friday afternoon I discovered that our 13 year old water heater had been leaking around the bottom. I immediately called Pearce, as we depend on them for exceptional HVAC service, and our neighbor had been very pleased with their installation of a new water heater at her home. Wow. Brian and his crew are amazing. This is the second time I've had him install AC and a furnace. in 2003 he did all the ducting, gas, and HVAC for our home addition and remodel. His bid was competitive and his work was outstanding. He can back multiple times to add ducts and make sure everything was perfect. He never tried to upsell me but rather talked me out of some expensive ideas I had. I regretted it when I didn't listen to him.

Clair was our technician and was friendly and professional throughout the service call. He was very knowledgeable and straightforward with his diagnosis and explanation (wearing a mask and keeping distance too).
We called the company in the morning and Clair arrived the same day in mid-afternoon. Very important with the furnace problem on a cold day. The office person was fast and polite too.
Cost was reasonable. I was able to verify part cost online and the Pearce installation cost was reasonable too.

Clair was fan-freakin-tastic!! He came out to give our A/C and furnace (HVAC) it's regular tune up today. He was incredibly knowledgeable about our ancient furnace and A/C units. He didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and gave us honest feedback about the longevity of some of system and its parts. He worked quickly, had a mask on for COVID protection and explained his findings in a way I could easily understand. It seems like he's been doing this for roughly 1 million years. I have a 30 year old furnace that I am 'babying' along. I needed to service my furnace to get ready for winter. I went with Pearce because of the wonderful reviews on yelp and I wasn't disappointed. I scheduled my moms house, my house and a rental, to be done the same day. They arrived early and agreed that we need to keep these older furnaces cleaned and efficient. The rental furnace will be the first to go because a fan is making noise. He recommended waiting to replace and at that point, call them and they can come the next day. So relieved to have another great HVAC company!

Pearce was wonderful to work with. They took a challenging house construction setup and came up with a creative solution to install our A/C. Brian is a top notch professional and his team was courteous, efficient and helpful. We are very happy with how clean their work is, meaning with how they installed our vents and other items. There was no sloppy/quick work or short cuts to compromise quality. Brian and his team made sure we knew how to work the a/c unit, how to replace the filter and fulfill all city requirements. We just had Pearce Heating & Air Conditioning install a new AC unit and replace our 20 year old furnace and we are very satisfied. Pearce Heating installed an A/C in our house recently, and we are very satisfied with the experience. The guys worked efficiently, always came on time and cleaned up at the end of each day (they were working at my house for two full days). Brian, the owner, was very patient with all our questions and spent a lot of extra time over the weekend to help us figure out the problem we had with our ducts and return air, for free, even though that was not part of our contract on A/C installation. GREAT SERVICE. My 15 year old furnace stopped heating. I tried myself to clean the igniter and then installed a new thermostat myself with no luck. Called at 10am while at work but could not remember what brand furnace I had. Arrived home at 4PM (in Duvall) and texted the very polite and caring Allison in the office what the brand and a pic. One minute later she replied that she was checking with the tech and 3 minutes later I received a text saying he was on the way. Within 30 minutes he arrived and I explained what I did and knew. Our furnace was giving us problems in the winter. Called the authorized dealer of Carrier and was quoted $2000 for repairing a $4000 furnace! I called Pearce to give me a quote on a new furnace. Thankfully Claire from Pearce, came over, diagnosed the problem as a faulty inducer motor and fixed the problem for $350. Claire was quick, knew what was going on, was communicative and promptly fixed the issue. He also gave us a few tricks to get the furnace working till the new part came. Very happy with the service.
