I bought a $200 spare car key here. It worked initially, but the battery died shortly after, and they charged me a fee to replace it. Even though this was a few months later, they were not professional enough to put in a new battery for free, or give me the opportunity to change it myself. A business should uphold their sales, not try to nickel and dime you for a simple battery. I recommend getting keys ANYWHERE ELSE. Not only did they charge me for something that was their fault, but they were rude about doing so and the employees did not wear masks either time I went inside, during the height

As much as I'm embarrassed to admit it, I lock myself out of my car often. ESP Locksmith is the only business I'll call to my rescue! They are professional, extremely fast, affordable, and most importantly, they are friendly. I've called them several times and have always been pleasantly surprised that my wait time is half of what I've been told. Just last night I was told 30-40 minutes until my rescue and just 15-20 minutes later ESP Locksmith arrived. I won't call anyone else when I'm in need of a locksmith in the Santa Barbara area!

I don't normally post reviews on service businesses unless they deserve some notoriety based on their excellent performance.
ESP responded quickly and positively after posting my need for a locksmith. ESP showed up on time, was very professional and friendly and completed his work quickly. I also appreciated ESP honoring his very reasonable quote he gave me over the phone as I have had issues in the past where service locksmiths under bid the work in order to get the work.

After losing my car keys at the beach in Carp, an hour away from home, I was in a panic. AAA said we could tow the car but they couldn't guarantee that if they sent someone they would be able to start the car. I called another locksmith who was super helpful but didn't have the key fob that matched my car in stock and they referred me to ESP. In my experience, it is not often that a business will refer a potential customer to a competitor so to me that already says a lot about how their work is viewed by colleagues.

I recently lost the key to my mailbox. I called several different companies and ESP was very responsive and quoted me a price less than the others. Within 30 minutes the locksmith arrived at my house and did the work. The locksmith was very professional and honest! I highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

Just finished with Alan and his co-worker. They quickly fixed a problem with one of our door knob latches. Despite my making a mistake on scheduling, they came on time. Quickly assessed the problem and fixed. Wearing masks as they worked. They were very kind and nice men. I would definitely use them again.. and I am sure I will need them.

We got locked out but fortunately they came to pick the knob. We highly recommend their service because they were on time and came really quickly (we live in IV), affordable prices, more importantly, they didn't break our lock!! As a mom when your college student calls and says , " I LOST my CAR keys" to a 20 year old car you must call ESP! Triple A can't get into car and get code to turn car on! You are looking at Towing car to dealership!!several hundred dollars!
Not only were they prompt, professional and got into car, got code and made extra keys!!!

The option to receive a quote stated ESP responds on average in 30-minutes. Low-and-behold, Alan personally responded within that timeframe with time to spare. We arranged an appointment to re-key 3 doors, Alan arrived easily within that window and completed the task extremely quickly. The amount I was quoted earlier matched what I was charged, although I did pay a 'whopping' $2 extra per upgraded key. Woohoo!
