The actual installation will usually take between one and five days to install, depending on the size of the system and the roofing materials. I got a referral from a friend for getting solar... after getting a quote from a company that had tons of very good reviews I decided that it seemed a bit expensive regardless of the level of customer service.
I then got 4 other quotes from local companies that also had good reviews. All of the quotes were a little bit lower than that first one except for one particular quote.
Magic Solar San Diego (Stas) came in with a MUCH lower price... More than 25% lower than most of the other offers. I was thrilled, and after re-reading Magic Solar's reviews I decided to go with Stas.

Great experience with Magic Solar. We had a challenging situation at one of our investment properties and Stas helped me figure out a solution when other companies weren't willing to even take a look at it. We liked working with him so much that we had him install solar on our personal home. We work with a lot of contractors and sub-contractors and I'd highly recommend Magic Solar.

We had a wonderful experience with Stas! He was professional and timely with our solar project. He was patient with us while we seemed to run into multiple complications on our end to begin and continue with this project. The delivery, installation and approvals were completed much sooner than either of us anticipated and we could not be more satisfied! Had a great experience with Magic Solar. I needed an inverter replacement. No fuss - just a clear quote, quick check to make sure everything was in order and three days later, done. The work was done efficiently, effectively and at a price that was much less than the other nearby companies.
What's funny is that a week AFTER Magic Solar was done, I finally got the last quote back from one of the big companies for a price much higher. Felt good to say, "no thanks, the work is already done."

Stas from Magic Solar is an expert in installing and firing up solar systems. Good thing about him is, he has full knowledge of Solar power, honest, tells you where is buying his stuff from, supports after sales ( now a days it's critical to support customers after sales which many don't & that's why those go out of business). His price is reasonable. he is truly hard working and dedicated installer. He did set up SolarEdge app on iphone so I can see how much power my system generates in a day.

I interviewed and got quotes from 6 solar companies. All of the big ones and some small ones. I did not feel comfortable with any of them except Magic Solar San Diego. These solar companies all have slick sales people and big promises. If you feel like wasting time and money go with one of these big companies. If you want great workmanship ,good value along with great service go with Magic Solar San Diego. The owner, (Stas) does great work and is very thorough. It was one week from start to finish and I have the best looking solar system on the street. 5 stars for Magic Solar San Diego

If you're looking for solar search no further than Magic Solar San Diego. j They not only had a very fair price but they were the nicest and most honest. I had six other quotes from other big solar companies. I got tired of all the hype and bragging that each of them were the best around. When I met with Stas from Magic Solar San Diego I felt his bid was competitive and he did not over promise his services. This was a big investment. Had a good experience with magic solar. After dealing with sky high electric bills with SDGE. I decided to get solar for my house. The owner explained everything to me was prompt in response with my many calls and emails. The installation looks beautiful on my roof I had a 10 kw system installed. I’m no longer shelling out hundreds to SDGE . I highly recommend this company !!!!

If you're looking for a reliable, local small business to install Solar, Stas at Magic Solar is your guy! He's a small business but don't let that fool you. It took his crew three days to install an 8.1kWp system using LG 300w Panels, 27 panels in all with a SolarEdge inverter that allows for battery backup integration.
I had Solar City, SunRun (Costco), and Baker bid the rooftop installation. Solar Magic was not only the lowest of all the bids, but it was the lowest by a large margin. He explained the process, reviewed our electrical bills and educated us on why he chose the components
