Our wood comes from all over the South, rare woods not had by all: Sweet Gum, Hack Berry, Ambrosia Spalded Maple, Curly Maple and more. Our quality is superior. We use only dried woods for our furniture. However we do sell Slabs, it's your choice.

I visited G's Live Edge workshop in Dellwood a couple of times in early 2023 and spoke with G (Gordon) about his furniture. He showed me tables in his workshop that were being built. We discussed him building me a custom table top. He asked for payment upfront, which I was very skeptical of, and said he would deliver the table in early June 2023.
I informed G's I would be returning in June and G said the table would be ready. When I arrived in June G stopped responding to texts and calls. Nothing was delivered in June 2023.
I continued to reach out and G responded with excuses a couple of months later. He assured me my table would be delivered in Nov 2023 when I returned. Over the summer he sent photos and it looked as if the table would be delivered in Nov. When I returned in November G once again stopped responding to texts and calls. Nothing was delivered in November 2023.
G would not respond until I sent him a copy of a small claims suit I intend to file. After this he immediately responded and said he would refund my money. I tried to arrange a pickup and he asked for ten days. After ten days he said he had a portion of my refund but when I sent someone to retrieve it he paid them nothing. It looks as if a legal action is my only remedy at this point.
Do not do business with G's Live Edge. Gordon Graham has not delivered on one thing he has told me he would do. His business acumen is so inept he cannot or will not refund customers or deliver the items he accepts payment for.

They were WELL stocked with a wide assortment of beautiful slabs. Every size/shape you could think of. Everything was beautiful. The staff was awesome. We stayed and talked for a while.
Unfortunately we bought a piece that we were told was dry. We didn't have our moisture meter with us as this was a spontaneous trip. When we got home we found out that it was NOT.
The price was very reasonable... For dried wood. Now I either have to use/purchase different wood for my project or wait for the 35% to drop. I wouldn't go back without a moisture meter in hand to check any potential purchases.

Oh take a moment and smell this place! The smell of lumbered wood!! It is awesome! The mascot (dog) who welcomed me was so sweet and loving. The couple who worked at the shop was welcoming and polite. They shared burned art wood and showed examples of how the wood could be used. I settled on a purchase of a sign because I didn’t really need anything but I wanted to buy something. I wish I had a need for some of this beautiful wood. They had a working room and huge rooms of different sizes and styles of wood! I was so glad I stopped. Unique store and sweet people!

Sales Lady was very nice and knowledgeable. She also asked G to help us find a Custom Mantle piece. He showed us numerous and offered expertise we would not have thought of. We purchased an awesome Dark Walnut Mantle Piece with Live Edge to offer great character! The cost was a fraction of what I expected. Looking for great selection, and value with no middleman or sales fluff...this is the place.
