I recently used All State Movers after a recommendation from a family member. From start to finish they were absolutely wonderful. John walked me through every room in my house over the phone where I indicated furniture that would be moved to insure we had the proper number of movers and trucks. Their quote was very reasonable and less than other companies. I’m moving day they showed up on time with the correct number of movers and trucks. Omar was the lead person and couldn’t have been nicer. They wrapped every piece of furniture and actually finished the job 2.5 hours under the original quoted

Really bad experience with these movers. Made delivery very stressful. Asked more money due to some walking involved to the door which was fine per rules but when we are handing him over money and while he was counting cash conveyed to us that we can pay if not he can take the delivery back. Why would you say that to people who have paid you in full in advance and have been waiting for delivery for 2 weeks. Just trying to be a diva. We offered them water so that guy can chill a bit. During my move from San Francisco to Chicago, All State Movers helped get me situated in partnership with my California movers. I have nothing but good things to say about the 4 men who helped move me in yesterday and set up my furniture. They were proactive in letting me know they were coming, they were on time, they worked well with my building requirements, they were cautious in handling my stuff, they were fast, and they were SUPER helpful - they even helped me take the excess trash out as I started unpacking! Jefferson, the lead for my crew introduced himself and his team and did a walkthrough with me before the moving started. They communicated and explained things along the way.
The overall price was a bit higher due to wrapping up my furniture with blankets and everything but i can confidently say there was not a single scratch or chip on anything and i am very happy about that.
When you are getting your estimate, just make sure they include the rental or buy costs for blankets and such.

I got quotes from a bunch of moving companies. Allstate was the best as far as service pre move. They were clear on pricing and very easy to schedule. They were also cheaper than all the other companies.
Day of, they came in prompt and wasted no time. I booked them for 2.5 hour min and had them move me out of my studio. I was out in an hour, which includes them breaking down my bed. They set up my bed and also unloaded everything in about 2hrs.
They were not like cheap cheap ($500) but they were cheaper comparably by a couple bucks and were beyond professional, nice, and just really amazing.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY...The movers sent to pick up my things were extremely RUDE. Im in management so I know a bit about what decent customer service should look like. When the lead mover got out the truck he immediately started yelling at my neighbors and I because the parking spaces were too small. I was not given the heads up as to the movers moving my things from the front of the house. Most times, in our building the back was more suffice.

This company is irresponsible did not give me a call too tell me about the 18 wheeler they are going to deliver my furniture in, when they got to my home the semi could not fit I had to use a friends pickup truck to drive 3 blocks from my house get my own furniture after I paid door to door asked me to give him the money before I could even get my stuff down then tried to make me pay 300 more dollars for the driver to get a smaller truck after they already got 3 blocks from my house terrible service don’t recommend this company to nobody.

Extremely well organized from the point when I requested an estimate, to scheduling the move and follow up on details of when the movers would arrive. Great communication in the weeks before the move to make sure all was on schedule. The entire process and costs were clearly detailed at all times. In fact, the costs were actually less than… estimated. Outstanding, courteous service, showed up exactly on time. Very professional, made sure all items were safely stowed for a 300 mile trip. The movers were quick but careful, great work on a very hot, humid day. I highly recommend All State Movers

Response from owner of company only shows his lack of understanding. I chose the "lower" estimate because that was the final estimate given to me after a phone call with his estimator where I described all of the furniture in detail and offered to send photos. We actually REDUCED the number of boxes from 20 included in the final estimate to 15 actually moved so his comment about "pieces" is ludicrous since the price is based on cubic feet not pieces but we still reduced our cubic footage from what I described to the estimator.

Moving your house can be extremely stressful but Allstate movers made my day so much easier than I thought it will be!
The communication through their office was very pleasant, the team arrived right on time which I appreciated, they completed the job extremely fast while keeping all of my belongings in good condition.
They even helped me assembled a few of my new furniture's! I'm extremely impressed from them going above and beyond for their customers

We just finished our move yesterday and the experience was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, I'm blown away!! The movers arrived on time and got to work immediately. The guys were energetic, worked PERFECTLY as a team and had good hygiene, which was a problem for us in the past with another company. Ive used 2 other moving companies in the past & I can only describe the experience as meh. Allstate has definitely raised the bar on my expectations for movers. Our move was completed right around the estimated time that we were quoted and after the move was finished the guys even asked us if we needed

This is the second time we have used them. The crew was happy and upbeat despite the horrible hot weather. The crew was quick, efficient and friendly. The person handling our estimates on the phone was just as friendly and efficient. Highly recommend them. After having a very bad experience with another moving company, I was very happy to find them.

I would give these guys all the thanks if I could. I had only done local moves up to my last move with these guys. So when I made up my mind to move out of state I was very worried, especially about the move. I was recommended All state movers inc by a friend who also moved out of the state. I couldn't be any happier with this company. From the… first phone call with their sales rep David all the way to the last furniture placed in my home, the entire move went smooth. They were fast and very respectful towards my belongings. These guys are the best, very highly recommended.

Called several movers. Got an almost
immediate response from All State.
Their estimate was the best of the 3 movers I contacted.
They were easy to deal with. The movers showed up in the time frame promised. They were polite and got the job done in a quick and efficient manner and honored the estimate they gave me.
I would recommend them for your move without reserve.

Stay away from this company if you cannot closely monitor your things!!!
After almost four months of waiting for a settlement, I was offered $70 on a claim that included stolen items valued at more than 4k. The company contacted me after I posted my initial complaint on yelp. I had been asking to speak to the owner for over two months to no avail...but he responded on yelp to my complaint. Since then, I was offered up to $250. After I expressed how insulted I was, I was then offered a total of $400. I will not accept this! I have filed a police report for theft, contacted BBB and hired an attorney

Do not deal with All state movers for your moving needs they are a scam from beginning to end. They will ripped you off with their crazy prices. They asked me to retract my previous ratings for a higher one for them to accommodate my last minute request of re routing. On the first contact with them during cost estimate they were very professional… and gave me a decent rate so they won my business, but during loading the cost they gave me thripled to 7,200.00. I had no choice because my stuff are all loaded and are flight is on the following date. Furthermore, they are delayed when they deliver

The driver claimed he asked a police officer. Who knows I called the city.
I packed things my self but as you see in the pictures everything was in bubble wrap news paper and protection plastic. All the boxes were purchased new from Lowes. However, the boxes were delivered smashed even the ones that were noted as fragile.
I will update my post and let you know if they paid for all my things that were damaged or not.
