I called HGH the next day someone came look at what I needed and gave me a great price on my new HVAC system and the next day the team was out installing it. They were very professional and and even cleaned up after. I called to get an appointment to get winter check-up on the system and to change the filters and was given a 7:45am appointment. Steven came right on time and with a great attitude. He was very professional and got everything done in a very timely matter. HGH is wonderful!!!!!

Be very careful hiring this company, be sure to ask about their trip charges, after hour fees, and any other fees beforehand. My wife reached out to this company to take a look at the HVAC system at her investment property in Baltimore and was charged a trip fee, after hour fee (mind you the tech was only there to 4pm not late at night), and some other fee that does not make any sense, especially since the problem they claimed to cause the issue turned out not to even be a factor. HGH team installed gas lines inside my home to be used for converting my 2 wood burning fireplaces to gas. There were many steps to coordinate with BGE contractors, county inspectors, Miss Utility, and hearth installers and HGH had to work around all the other contractors schedules, as well as their own. They were flexible and adapted to the ever changing schedules. While they could not promise no holes in my ceiling, they took extreme care and were successful in not having to punch holes in my ceilings to run the pipes. My AC was running weak and I had another company come to check it out. They said I had an R22 unit and the compressor was bad and both the condenser and the evaporator needed to be replaced and later gave me a quote of $14k. A friend of mine recommended HGH for a second opinion as they had a good experience with them previously. HGH came out and told me I didn't have an R22 unit and that it only needed a recharge. Costs me $410, which is a far cry from $14k. I highly recommend them.

I called HGH for AC service/maintenance, but then had some water start backing up into the room, so I asked to move up my appointment. They were very accommodating and it was a relief to have the issue taken care of quickly. Chris showed up during the scheduled time and even sent a text that he was on his way. He seemed very thorough and completed the work promptly. I was very impressed by this company and for a fair and reasonable price.

I recently engaged this firm for the first time. As my Wife and I renovate our home, our gas-log fireplace required repair and equipment replacement. HGH Mechanical was recommended by the equipment supplier. HGH replaced the gas line and provided for the gas hook-up to the new gas-log system. Matthew and Christian, the HGH technical professionals who completed the job, were extremely professional, polite, and competent. Pricing was very reasonable. 2nd time I've called them for AC problems. Great experience both times. Called this morning at 7 and they were here by noon. It was a quick and easy fix and then the technician gave the whole system a once over to make sure everything else was in order. He was done and gone in no time and the price was absolutely reasonable. I'll definitely call them the next time i need AC or heating work done.

A/C needed a run capacitor (a $5 part) a couple years ago and these guys charged us $250 to replace it. Doesn't matter how nice a thief is if he's stealing from you. I'm fine with people making a living, but that was crooked. My wife called him on it and he got nasty with her. I will never deal with them again.

We had the exact opposite experience of this other reviewer. We were referred to HGH by a friend of ours who is a construction engineer/project manager who uses this company often. From the beginning to the end, they were great.
