Nick is a true artisan. He took my old rug from 1950s Afghanistan and rebound the edges, repaired a rip, and locked the fringe. All of this made an old 'hand me down' from my grandparents into an heirloom we'll treasure. His love of rugs is infectious and his knowledge of various traditional methods of rug weaving/knotting is encyclopedic. If we had more rugs, we'd bring them all in.

I inherited several rugs from my mother and had no idea what was what and so, I looked for someone who specializes in cleaning and repair and wow, do I feel lucky to be living close to one of the most knowledgeable specialist that I can imagine! Mike was very professional, very experienced, easy to work with, and honest. He was extremely helpful in explaining where each rug was from and the type of workmanship, what was worth repairing and what was not, etc. When it came to cleaning and repair, he did a fantastic job in a reasonable amount of time and everything looks great.
