Booking made on ABA Cars website and confirmed in writing by email with a week in advance and two hours before taxi due, ABA Cars cancel the booking as they say they have no cars available as a web bookings. Controllers insists I only booked the car 4 hours earlier despite having the email confirmation from a week ago.

I use their service often, but tonight I was called a liar by someone in their office, they said I was trying to get out of paying.. My point was simple instead of accepting that someone in their office made a mistake in the price they told me, they accused me of lying. It's the principle here not the hidden cost I was charged. Rude back-office staff. I can see why Uber is doing so well.

Used these guys last night. Right by station, popped in and they have a £4 offer for stops within 2miles.
Guy got my taxi straight away, I go round corner and my taxi driver, Assad, is right there, knows exactly where to go and is very polite. Home within 5mins. Was the smoothest interaction I've ever had with a company lol.
Would definitely recommend for the late night get- home-quickly situations, at least with Assad!
The only downside was their card machine was broken but luckily I had my emergency cash.

I bought a 1998 Honda Civic EX that was really nice from these people. They were on Fulton Ave at that time. I really really liked this car and had to have it.
I came in and wrote down my offer which they refused. They told me they would accept nothing but full price on the car, which IMO, was too expensive and was much more than other car lots were asking for the same model car; however, I had already fallen in love with the gorgeous car so I came around to agreeing with the overly high price. I bought it outright for 6499$ if I remember right in 2008, I think it was.

Super happy with the cars we have bought. Yes cars we have bought 3 cars from Jeff and all of them we got great deals. In fact we are ruined! Our first was a truck for my husband the second car was a GMC Envoy. Great price low mileage. Two weeks later I had a serious accident at the fault of another driver and my car was totaled. We then bought a Lexus hybrid RX 400h. I've run already 30,000 miles on this car and just so happy with my car. Thank you Jeff! Once the kids get their drivers license we will be going back for another car.

This is a place where retired and older folks go to dump there problematic cars. This place will take cars on co-assigment and often with no history on the vehicle.
I too fell for this behavior. I purchased a 1991 Honda Prelude with 141K miles in 7/2017. Immediately after buying the car and getting it to the house the A/C stopped working. Jeff took it to some guy in sacramento who's solution was to tie the compressor hot lead into the cooling fan's hot lead. So everytime the cooling fans came on so did the A/C compressor regardless of the A/C switch being on and off which meant that

Jeff is a great guy. Purchased a 1999 Chevy S10 from him. The tires on the truck where new, however not the tires I wanted. Jeff said go get the tires you want and bring the ones on the truck back, ill pay you what I paid for them. So I did, and Jeff gave me cash back for the tires I didn't want. Never heard of an auto dealer doing this. Such good customer service.

I have had great experiences with Jeff, Kyle and all of the other staff at About New. I have purchased 2 cars from them (an Acura and a Jeep) in the last 5 years and had great results with both cars.
