Rent your truck, if you need one, as early as possible. And don't forget that if we are loading up your truck to also rent plenty of moving blankets (about 2 blankets per item). Use linens or blankets for wrapping mirrors, pictures and such. Stage coolers on top of the fridge/freezer, for when they have to be emptied for moving day.

Ben was super professional and responsive. Immediately created a google calendar event for the delivery I needed. They had picked some items up for me and a few were not ready for pickup when they arrived. Without me calling or following up they worked the last few pieces into their delivery schedule a few days later and took care of the problem. Great initiative, respectful, responsible and excellent service. No damage either. Perfect! THANK YOU!!!

We needed just a treadmill moved from one residence to another and were having difficulty finding first someone to move just one piece and secondly the price was outrageous for a one piece two mile distance between residences. Then I came across General Purpose Movers online and emailed. Received a quick response. They were absolutely fantastic from the office contacts to the wonderful two gentlemen that did the heavy lifting and moving the piece for us. I 100% recommend this company and will definitely use them again for a small move of something or an actual large housing move! 5 star company

Top notch moving service. Packed my belongings without me needing to be there. Safely transported it over 1000 miles. Smooth as a whistle. The staff is so friendly I invited them out for a beer. Highly recommend!

Leo and his team of Ethan, Kevin and Ben moved us 10 minutes across town on August 8th. We moved after 20 years in our house. The move cold not have gone any smoother! These guys were professional, very conscious of not banging up our walls or furniture, speedy and all are very nice, polite gentlemen. I could not be happier with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone needing moving services. I'm hoping I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if did I would use them. I understand they would even help on small, in-house moves (furniture rearranging, etc...). I wouldn't hesitate

The movers were so very courteous and professional as well as patient- can't say enough about how positive our experience with General Purpose Movers was! They dealt with a few volume challenges that came up and handled them well. We even had a difficult piece of furniture that they came back next day to take care of, completing the job- amazing. Highly recommend them for moving needs!
