After buying a new house we needed to have our doors rekeyed and I just put it off, but I also purchased an electronic lock and didn't want to try to figure it out. I messaged Eric late at night through Yelp and by the next morning he had already messaged me back. He was responsive, helpful and flexible. Luckily he could fit us in same day so within 24 hrs all 4 our own to do list items were completed. I'm not sure how measure his rates within the industry but he provided them upfront and we were okay with them to avoid the headache. I would highly recommend Eric.

We needed a deadbolt and smart lock installed plus a bunch of locks re-keyed. Erik was quick to respond to my messages, punctual, and friendly. Though the cost of a service call is higher than some of the other locksmiths I checked out on Yelp, the reliability was worth it. He also showed us how to add and delete codes from our keypad lock which I really appreciated!

We moved into our new home a few weeks ago, and needed our house to get re-keyed. In addition, the previous owners left us a bunch of keys that we weren't sure what they were for. On top of that, just a few hours before Erik was supposed to come, my boyfriend locked our car keys in the car! Erik to the rescue - he came and helped us figure out what keys were for what, rekeyed the whole place, AND rescued our car keys from the car in like 30 minutes. His price was super, super reasonable for everything that he did. I was pretty astonished and super impressed. Highly recommend Erik and Sound Lock

I called Sound Lock & Key to get a key made for our side door. They only key we had for the door had been lost for years, but we never used the door, so it didn't really bother me. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and I now needed to use that side door! I texted on a Wednesday and got an immediate response and a ball park of what it would cost. We set up to meet on Friday and he showed up right when he said he would. I showed him the side door and he was able to make new keys for the deadbolt, but not the door handle. I was fine with that and asked that he proceed. I think it took

Erik is fantastic! I called him to change 12 locks/bolts on our rental. He responded right away, came right on time, and was extremely professional. He quickly removed all twelve knobs/bolts, re-keyed them in his truck, and re-installed them perfectly, even lubricating & checking each one. They work great and our tenants are very happy! Will definitely call again when needed and love the fact that it's a small local business!

So helpful!! I needed to get a key made TONIGHT for my neighbor to be able to feed my cats tomorrow. The local place wasn't open and I have yet to find a working key machine at a normal store. I called Sound Lock & key and he drove over to meet me near my house, made the key within seconds, and sent me on my way, no charge! So sweet and helpful when I couldn't find anything else And now my kitties will be well fed for my night away :)

Wow that was easy! It's move day into our new home and I'd feel a whole lot better being the only key holder. I called Erik and he came over within an hour and had all my locks changed in 30 minutes. He even went above and beyond, fixing a door that wouldn't latch properly. Super nice guy, great work, fairly priced.

Erik was professional, kind and helpful! I am a first-time homebuyer who recently purchased a new home and needed to rekey. Highly recommend Sound Lock & Key if you're locked out of your apartment after-hours!
I accidentally locked myself out of my room on the way to do laundry. My apartment manager and maintenance didn't answer my calls/texts for help, and I was getting desperate. I was looking at other locksmiths that all quoted me around $100... but Erik gave me a good price and made it to my apartment in exactly the amount of time he estimated (20 minutes!)
I am especially grateful for Erik during these times of COVID-19. He was wearing a mask, and stayed at a healthy distance from me the whole
