Thompson Landscape is a professional lawn care and landscape maintenance company. We have been serving Texas cities in the Collin and Denton Counties since 1988. We service the cities of Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Little Elm, and Carrollton. Thompson Landscape specializes in residential lawn mowing, landscape maintenance, and fertilization and weed control services.
We start all of our customers lawn mowing services on a bi-weekly mowing schedule in March, switch to a weekly rotation from April through October, and return all of our customers lawn mowing services to a bi-weekly basis from the beginning of November. Crape myrtles trees are one the most sought ornamental tree's in Texas.

We have specialized shrub crews that all have several years of experience. We offer one-time, monthly, and bi-monthly shrub trimming and bed weeding services. We provide a flat rate rather than charging an unpredictable, expensive hourly rate like most other lawn companies. Our pricing starts at $35.00.
Excess leaves can block sunlight and reduce the evaporation of water. This can cause an array of fungus, mold and lawn disease. Like most things, a healthy lawn can take a hit, turn for the worst, and bounce back. However, an already unhealthy or stressed lawn can be sent to the point of no return with leaves being allowed to sit for a period of time.

I have been using Thompson Landscape for many years now and they are great. They are reasonably priced and mow my yard every week. The workers are very conscientious and do a great job. I also use them for cleaning my shrob beds and they really do a great job on that. I highly recommend them for all your landscaping needs.

We have used their service for 3 years. This year, out of the last 4 mows, there have been issues 3 of the mows. 1st time they didn't mow our backyard; only the front and side was done. The 2nd mow they didn't show up at all! I even called the company 3 times that evening to inquire on when they were going to arrive. I was told each time 'Yes, they were still coming but just running late'. It ended up with me calling the next morning and being told it would have to wait till the next day before they could come back out. The 3rd mow everything seemed to be good again

If you value your home, stay away from Thompson Landscaping. Regretfully, we used them for 2 years. Their careless Destruction Crews' focus is speed, not quality, of service. At first the damage was minor - broken signs and bricks in our front and back yards and some really sloppy edging. I cringed but decided it was tolerable.
Then one day I discovered loose and dangling siding on our breakfast nook. Fortunately, the nook is viewable from my back porch security camera. I went to the footage and watched as one of the Thompson mowers slammed into the breakfast nook, paused to note the damage

First off, this company is *very* expensive. That would be tolerable if Thompson provided top-notch service. The problem is that they expect you to dance around their schedule.
Over the year we used them, their crews would show up without notice, or show up before 8 AM, or we would get a text notice for a service call that never came.
If they came, portions of the property were missed or contracted services were skipped.
After a point the whole thing just gets to be a royal pain. I'd rather service the yard myself, thank you.

We tried to work with them for about a year now, but we had to spend more time on the phone to correct their mistakes than the time they spend servicing our property. The services they claim they performed is not what happens on the ground: from not servicing the entire house, to doing a superficial job or skipping the service altogether (based on our video camera recordings). They sometimes come to your property doing nothing - I guess only to get a GPS recording they have been here. Customer service is arrogant and needs heavy duty convincing that your property has not been served. Too little

Thompson Landscape has done a fantastic job for us and for a reasonable price! From clearing weeds to maintaining our lawn, they are efficient and thorough. Our lawn was horrible when we moved into our house last year, and thanks in no small part to their help, we no longer are the ugliest lawn on the block. Not only do their service guys do a top notch job, but their office staff have been very responsive.

I just built a new home in Mckinney by Craigs Ranch, and there a tons of landscaping options here. It's basically all new home construction, so the options are vast. After some research, I choose Thompson Landscape because I thought they gave the best options and pricing for my needs. I've been using them for about 3 months now. The crew comes every Monday bright and early (just how I like it) and they have really done a consistent job each time. Our lawn is always cut nice and even, all the way to the fence line. They are neat, tidy, and FAST! They are respectful of our belongings in the back

Avoid this company at all cost! I wish I would have checked the other reviews before I hired them. They billed me for one yard mowing that I had already paid them for and I proved it to them with the cancelled check. I called and was told that if I didn't pay them for this yard mowing, they would turn the charge over to a collection agency and it would affect my credit. The person actually said "we will ruin your credit if you don't pay us"
