Used Moves for Seniors to move my mom to assisted living and they were on time, pleasant, professional and helpful. They did the move exactly as I needed and placed the furniture where I wanted it in Mom's new place. Very happy with them, the move and how the whole day went. Highly recommend!

Moves for Seniors was amazing. They worked with me to find a date in my tight timeframe and were able to move both furniture and a medical bed. They were on time, helpful and friendly both from the office staff to the moving team. A great find!! I would use them again.

Moves for Seniors coordinated all the aspects of our downsizing and moving. They referred us to an online auction house when we told them we were downsizing, and we sold quite a bit of what we originally thought we would either discard or give to charity. Then they sent us the wonderful movers from Good Life Moving Services, who took donations to charity, discarded junk, and moved us out of the house in Bloomfield to White Plains. This was our second move with Move For Seniors for our 94 year old father in a year and we could not be more pleased! Gina is able to keep us calm and organized and truly is a gift to us all. We would not hesitate to use it again especially with her at the helm of the move.

I cannot say enough good things about Gina and her team at Moves for Seniors. From the very first phone call, Gina made us feel at ease. We needed to move my elderly father-in-law from his home to assisted living , and then clean out the rest of the house. Gina was with us every step of the way. Both teams of movers we worked with were very polite and professional. The team that helped with the move really took care of my father-in-law's things to make his move as smooth as possible. I work with College hunks and we done a move for them recently this week. They were all very professional and we understood the difficulties that come with it but they made it a very smooth process from start to finish(Wish every move was organized like they were) We would love to do more business with them if possible!

We had a great experience with Moves for Seniors. The contracted team that did the work was professional, efficient and friendly. They took great care of all the furniture and personal belongings, and even assembled the new bed frame for us. I highly recommend Moves for Seniors!

Moves for Seniors was recommended to me by the Retirement Community to which I was moving as they had used them many times with favorable results. They were professional, careful with the furniture, supportive, and set up my furniture pretty much as it was in my former residence. (see photos) For those reasons, I gave them 5 stars. Would highly recommend them.

Moves For Seniors contracts with the assisted living center where my 95-year-old Mom lives. And with the pandemic they're the only company approved for moves.
The good news: The elevator in her building broke down earlier this year and anybody above the first floor needed to move to another building for about 6 weeks. The move crew was excellent, the move took about an hour and was very smooth. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
The bad news: She decided to move to another apartment in the same complex on June 1. Moves For Seniors gave her a quote of five hours for over $1,000. But

My clients experience was so messy, there's just not enough space to tell it all. Main point, watch out for your loved one...because they ARE NOT. Movers arrived weeks late, after she had relocated to an empty retirement home. She had to sleep on an air mattress while waiting. Her move cost several thousands more than what she was quoted. Many items were damaged and valuables missing. The repair costs to the damaged furniture are in the thousands on top of under quoting and over charging. As of now...doesn't sound like they will be refunding her for any of this trouble. My heart

Awful experience with move for seniors. Our moving crew was an hour late from the agreed upon time. They also went to the wrong address and burned 30 minutes getting to correct address. We were promised wardrobe boxes but the crew had none and said they were not instructed to bring wardrobe boxes.
One of the crew members arrived visibly injured and had trouble bending and lifting, which did not make him especially effective. The crew was slow, there were often times one crew members not doing anything. We were under a tight time frame so my family members and I started grabbing boxes and furniture

Signed up with move for seniors to move my mother from Hot Springs, AR to Bend, OR. It has now been 19 business days / 27 days since pick up and no delivery. I am now on the third projected delivery date. Initial quote seemed reasonable, but at the end they claimed more weight and added $1,000 to the original quote. They say they have there own moving team, but an independent mover in ARK had to pick up first, then to storage, then who knows how many other companies have touched the shipment. I feel the firm low balled the quote, misrepresented that "their" people move the furniture

Moves For Seniors is one of the best moving services I have ever used. They have made many moves in our retirement community and they are the best. The team is always on time, very professional and handles all moves with care and safety. I highly recommend this company for any moving needs especially for your senior family members.
