Would & have highly recommended Griswold Plumbing. We lost our well pump, unexpectedly, recently. We had heard of Griswold, so we reached out to the company & the receptionist was great to work with, she easily scheduled an appointment to review & give us an estimate for the service. They fixed it quickly & professionally. They warned us about the sediment that would come with this new well pump, they gave us an approximate time frame for how long & told us how to deal with it. Any & all questions that I had, they were highly responsive to our concerns.

I Called Griswold Plumbing For A Leaking Shower and A Hot water Tank .MIKE and ELI Came Out They Were Great Gave Us A Quote and Went Right to Work. They Were Very Neat They Had Mask And Protection On There Shoes. They Also Left The House Neat And Clean . Also The Office Staff Was Very Nice On The Phone. Thank You Griswold Plumbing. We Now Have Hot Water and No Leaks.

While Griswold did repair my broken sump pump, they refused to supply me with an itemized bill. Even after I told them my insurance would not reimburse my $950 bill without it being itemized, they refused to itemize the bill I had already paid. This practice, which they call company policy, should be made clear at the time of service. Otherwise, as in this case, their practice seems suspicious and they can take advantage of consumers like myself who are in an emergency situation (like 2 inches of water on my basement floor). Griswold uses predatory tactics to take advantage of people in dire need

Work was excellent, workers were professional and competent. However, the predetermined fee per job policy: replacing the faucets for my washing machine cost more than replacing the washing machine would be. Over $600. When I asked for the cost breakdown - parts/labor i was told they don't provide that. It is a set cost for this job. They were there for about 45 minutes, replaced the faucets and hoses. My low rating is for their pricing policies that seem very overpriced.

We had an emergency septic backup issue on the evening of Valentine's Day last year and Griswold Plumbing was the only company that had the courtesy to call us back. The amazing Jon talked us through what to do to stop the backup so that we could hold tight until help arrived. The company did a fantastic job resolving the issue and their rates were very reasonable. Only writing the review now as I plan on hiring them to do work in the near future!! Thank you!!!!

This is obviously a company that uses flat rate pricing. I would suggest you look up the definition.
I am a retired plumber with 50 years of time and material pricing. I have been called in to give a quote against these type of company’s saving the customer $1000.00’s of dollars. I only suggest you shop around and take your time. Knowledge is power! Peace!

We dealt with Jeremy three years ago. It was a wonderful experience. He solved a problem and updated the plumbing to code for a reasonable price. This year, we couldn't get hold of Jeremy. Apparently he has left or do something else. Anyway, we had a dripping faucet in a stale shower. I called Griswold Plumbing from work since we had such a good service the first time. They were ready to go to my house right now. Luckily, my husband was there. So they showed up, two guys, replace the valve and faucet, and 1/2 hour later...$1725 !!! Plus a hole in the wall. Wow! It could very well be that these folks do excellent work, but I'll never know. I re-arranged my work schedule and they called to reschedule. I took time off from work and they called after the appointment time to let me know they needed to reschedule. They arrived onsite but then told me they would need to reschedule because of a puppy that they knew would be in the house. I made arrangements for the pup for the rescheduled time and they called to cancel. So much wasted time. They finished by recommending someone else.
