I gave this company a one-star rating because I don't know how to give it a zero star review apparently Google still wants me to at least put one star on this. This company's terrible the customer service is terrible the 1.8 review that you see is very reflective of the capacity of the individual's performing the work. Probably the worst technician experience I've ever encountered, just very unprofessional when it came to their technician! We purchased the warranty at the Home Depot and the previous company replaced the transmission and the washer makes a loud noise when being used and it was left worse than before, they never came back to fix. So we reported it and than this company tech came and I told him the problem and he said it was fine that is was washing so there is nothing wrong. This is the WORST repair business. I did not choose them willfully - my home warranty company (First American) assigned them to me. I was out of a refrigerator for a full month because they ordered the wrong part TWICE. And then blamed the repair person though he is obviously not in charge of ordering them. The delay in between getting the new parts was also awful. No communication. It was ridiculous. If you are assigned this business, do whatever you can to get reassigned.

Probably the worst technician experience I've ever encountered, I've only just discovered his shoddy work a few months after the fact because my refrigerator stopped working again. After he replaced our compressor the first time, it stopped working after a couple of days and made loud noises. We called him back and he came to "fix" it again. Here we are a few months later, without a working refrigerator because it's leaking Freon from his shoddy welds and we are told the compressor needs replaced again. Apparently, to fix the loud noise he wrapped coils in paper towels. This is a huge safety hazard

Stear clear of this First American Home Warranty cohert in crime. These two eneties work hand in hand to ensure the maximum profit vs worst service know to man. This appliance company only contracts work through home warranty companies since no real joe public would touch thwn with a 10 foot pole. They have been out 5 tines failing to fix the same problems. I have spent three times what it would cost for a new unit in having my cloths laundered for three months.First American Home Warranty is a scam. Try leaving a review on their fake sites. DO NOT USE! I would give them 0 stars if I could. The so called repairman didn't wear a mask, took his sandals off & put his sweaty socks all over my countertops, let himself in my backyard instead of knocking on my front door and left without even communicating. It took multiple trips for the "repairman" to fix my microwave... almost 2 months for 1 part...all while my home was for sale. It's working now, but he didn't put it back together completely or secure the cover to the wall above it. My home is now under contract with an inspection coming up and my microwave

Tech had no clue what he was doing. He drove up in his personal vehicle with no equiptment and only minimal pocket tools. Healso ignored COVID protocals.
Now for the details... Tech was flustered by the fact that water was in the washer. He wanted to empty it into the pedestal base... I said no. Then, he wanted to drag the washer to the outside door across my new floors. I said no. I asked if he had a siphon or hoses. He had no equiptment. He kept asking me for a manual. He had a smart phone, which is where I would have looked for the manual. He asked for a bucket, which was about 2 feet

Honestly if I could give a negative review I would. This company is horrible. I had Brian out on 7/13/21 for a freezer not staying cold. He didn't even pull the fridge out to look at the components and just took pictures of the inside. He said he normally has the parts with him but he happened to use it that day. He said he would be back the following morning to fix the problem.

I was so pleased with their service! After waiting a week for another appliance repair business that never showed up, we were switched to AVA. They called the same day, and promptly got us an appointment for the next day. The serviceman arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and ordered a part for the washer. The part arrived in two days, as promised. The very next day, their employee came out and replaced the part. I couldn't be happier! Great job AVA.

We had a young man named Gabe come out to diagnose & repair some issues with our fridge. We have had these same issues repaired by a different company 3 times before, and with the other guys it took them several visits over many weeks to figure out the issue, get the part in, & fix the issue. Gabe was able to do this in only 2 visits & he fixed it properly. Gabe was professional & explained everything to us. If the issue happens again we will definitely call AVA Appliance again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give a negative star. I had a broken washer and AVA was the repair company sent by my home warranty company. They took a week to come do the diagnosis. They reported that the motor control unit circuit board needed replaced. When they came back with the part, they said they needed another part and would be back in 3-5 days. Instead, they reported to the warranty company that I broke the washing machine by "overloading" it and that wasn't covered under warranty. They had no evidence of this. Guess what, the second opinion I got

They came to repair the water dispenser in my fridge, and snapped the valve on the wall. Had to turn off the water, and they failed to take responsibility for snapping off the valve. Do not use this company!!!! Rude customer service from the repair tech, and customer service has failed to return my call to express my concern three days later. Will be reporting to the BBB, who ever is in charge of their contractors licenses, have already reported to my home warranty company, and am looking at pursuing legal action against them.

Our home warranty contracted AVA to fix our refrigerator. After waiting over a week for a new compressor the technician arrived and struggled with the installation making several phone calls asking installation questions during his 3 hours at our house. After installing the compressor the tech told me he needed to come back the next day because he need a tool to reprogram the circuit board to get eh compressor to cool the frig. He arrived early the next day (Christmas Eve) for what I expected to be quick fix with a manual and removed and reinstalled the compressor, not sure about reprogramming

We had a Technician come out and stated he fixed our leaking refrigerator and then a few hours after he left the same problem persisted. While he was out he was very terse and un-communicative of the work he was doing or what the issue was overall. He also used putty to fix a broken hose. We have a $900K home that is 3 years old new home build and a $6K fridge yet putty was used to rig the fix.
When we called them to have them come back out they said they would have to send the same Technician. As you might imagine, we did not want this yet they still could not accommodate a very basic customer

I have a home warranty and AVA Appliance was assigned to my case.
My refrigerator door was not shutting well. I thought it was a seal problem. The technician came out and told me that there was a metal part on the bottom hinge of the door that needed replacing. He said that he would order the part and get permission to have a 2nd technician come out with him to install it. He said it would take 3-5 business days.
That was on 7/11. I received a text from my home warranty that my ticket had been closed on this matter and that the job was complete.
Today, 7/20, I called AVA. The woman 1st
