We specialize in the manufacture of painted and unpainted steel panels and trim for the post-frame, commercial, and residential markets. We were the first company to rollform steel building panels in the state of Indiana and one of the first companies to begin custom cut steel for construction application in the United States.

W.O. Pope founded Pope Steel Buildings in Greenfield, Indiana and began our longstanding reputation as an innovative leader in the fabrication of steel throughout the Midwest and abroad. Brothers Don and Harold Pope recognized the need for both Post-Frame and Commercial Steel Panels and Components and evolved the business into the Custom Metal Industries we know today.

Been getting metal from here for a long time. Every time I’ve been there the girl is the office always greets me with a smile and is very helpful. The guys are the same way smiling and very knowledgeable and helpful. I pass several other places to get metal on my way there. I keep going to Custom Metals Inc. because of their customer service and friendly atmosphere. Do your selves a favor and trust them with all your metal needs. I normally don’t do a lot of reviews but felt the need to express my gratitude and experiences with them.

Great people and awesome materials. I drive over an hour each way and it's worth the time and fuel. The guys in the shop are friendly and very helpful. The product is always top notch and very durable. I always recommend them to anyone who needs a metal roof or siding. I've never had any issues with their metal. Made in house by great professional guys and gals.
