O'Haver Contractors is a commercial general contractor that is a closely held limited partnership established in 1996 by its founder and President, Donald R. O'Haver II. Located in San Antonio we pursue commercial building projects throughout Texas in both private and public sectors providing general contracting services, as well as construction management, design-build, commercial construction cost estimating, and consulting.
Project Start-Up: A preconstruction conference is scheduled. Construction phase activities and procedures are established at the preconstruction conference. The project manager leads the conference with a very specific agenda aimed at addressing the specifics of the project, specific owner site issues, proper communication lines, document routing and processing, procedures and closeout requirements.
Possess a minimum of 10 years in ground up commercial building construction, with project valuations between 5 and 30 million dollars. Proven leader with great verbal and communication skills. Willing to travel throughout the state of Texas. Position requires a strong knowledge of the market, geographical area and the subcontractor base in the area that relates to the type of projects we build.
We enjoy an excellent relationship and reputation with our subcontractors and suppliers. These valued team members understand that when working together on a project, all our reputations are on the line when they are out in the field. WARNING!!! to other contractors and clients: This contractor DOES NOT complete work nor make payment to contractors that do complete work like my business. We worked to complete two Firestations for the state which were bonded projects, and have not received payment for work completed in 2020. They misappropriate project funds to pay for the next project and so on, leaving contractors to be unpaid and do not answer to calls nor emails. Punch list items were completed and rather then remitting payment then, another list of poor excuses were given once again. This company is bad business with no
