With several years of moving experience (packing, loading, driving, and management) and a degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, founder Ben McGlashen saw an opportunity to help people with one of the most stressful things they go through in life.relocating. In 2004, Marching Ant Moving was created with a single truck, two family members and a small basement office.
Marching Ant Moving offers residential moving in Flint, MI. We can move your entire home across the state or just a few pieces inside your home. A local move, which is considered any move less than 40 miles, is billed hourly. The hourly rate varies depending on the day of the week and how many movers will be needed.

We highly recommend Marching Ant Grand Blanc! Their team of Kaheem, Bryce, and Nick moved us this past week and made a stressful event a very positive experience. Their skill of utilizing every inch of the truck while taking great care in not damaging anything allowed for all of our belongings to be moved in a 26 ft. truck. It was remarkable! They worked quickly and non-stop; so polite, respectful and strong. The office staff was also helpful through the process, as I called several times with questions, and they were great! This moving expense was a very good value for the professional service

Marching Ants is a fantastic business to use. They're very personable, professional, careful and very trustworthy. I would recommend them for any of there services be it a personal moving experience or a professional moving job. They provide several services and I would and I have even referred my 80 year old Mother and she was surprised at how quick, convenient, person and cost effective. Moved this last weekend and the two gentlemen who helped us were amazing. I had never hired movers before and was worried that they would take their time because the job was quoted hourly. Let me tell you I was wrong to think that, the two guys moved so quick and efficiently! Will definitely contact again for our next move.

This company provided good customer service and a seamless move. It seems in the past year or so that customer service has become a rare commodity in today’s business world, so it was very refreshing to deal with Sara in the front office. She was prompt in contacting me and providing all the necessary information and was also friendly and professional. The movers displayed the same qualities. I appreciated that they were on time and efficient on the day of the move.

Great company to work with. From the first phone call for a estimate I found them to be helpful, respectful and professional. The two men they sent were so helpful nothing was a problem for them. We had a long distance move two hours away and two drop offs. The day went smoothly. Very respectful of our belongings. I would highly recommend them and will use them again!

The crew for loading took great care to protect my belongings and were true experts in fully utilizing all available space in the Moving pods I rented. They also moved fast to get me the best service without wasting time I was paying for.
The unloading crew was also excellent and continually surprised me with how quickly my moving pods were emptying. This crew was also careful with my belongings, as well as ensuring my new homes carpets and surfaces were protected.
If I move again, I would definitely use them again.

The worst moving company I've ever had!! The move was on January 12, 2017, a day that was Rain, Ice, Sleet & Snow. Some things were going into storage and the rest was going with me to my Townhouse. The day before I moved I had them come help pack~~HUGH MISTAKE!!! Things were just thrown in boxes, and while I was trying to help & watch one kid in my kitchen the other was in my bathroom (my private space) and my bedroom closet~~WT?? Things I had out on the kitchen counter to personally take with me were put in a box marked Kitchin (yes that how he spelled it) which included my phone book, coffee
