The owner, Simon Tatersall is a no BS guy and gave us options that met our needs with no hard sell to oversize the system. He really knows his stuff and gave us a simple, honest explanation of how it all works. His pricing is noticeably better than the big guys. Took us almost a year and half to decide whether to go solar or not. Simon and his engineer were able to come out to a house that I had listed/in escrow and figure out why the solar panels installed by another company weren't working at full capacity. The home seller had been struggling with the other company for years and they had never performed at full capacity. Zero Down Solar was able to fix an inverter and get 16 panels up and running that had perhaps never functioned in a chain. They worked us into their busy schedule next day and it made a huge difference in the sale and for the home buyer!

Zero Down Solar just added 10 panels to the home we recently purchased which already had a 27 panel system that they installed years ago for the prior owner. I was referred by a friend that Iiro his friend was the best. I was half way through a deal with a different solar company that I was not happy with. I decided to go solar a couple months ago, Iiro and Simon were great they answered all my questions even spending extra time with me to make sure I understood everything. Iiro helped walk me through the financing so everything went smoothly. The installers were prompt and professional. They showed up when they said and completed the job quickly. I received my first power bill and even with "May gray" my panels produced more than I used. I am very happy to never pay for electricity again!

The folks from ZERO DOWN SOLAR installed a 7.8kW system - 26 panels - for me in Dec 2016.
I have been very satisfied with both the energy that our solar array has produced - and the customer service from this company.
They took great care to ensure that I was happy with the work, answering all my questions and coming to check on the installation several times.
SDGE has reported that our solar panels have produced more power (kWh) than we have used, and it is such a relief not to have to pay SDGE every month.
So I am very happy with the prospects of not having to pay for any more energy bills
