I have worked with Anthony on many moves for clients. He is always responsive, a clear communicator, and the best guy to work with when moving. I could not be more disappointed with my move. Please DO NOT use this company. I have tried outreaching numerous times to the owner with concerns and have not received a response.

Big Hill Movers was fantastic from beginning to end, with one small caveat. They were friendly, professional, careful, and I enjoyed listening to their discussions about how best to manage some of the heavier, bulkier objects. My only complaint was that they gave me a 1 1/4 hour window in which they would arrive and didn’t show up until 2 1/2 hours after the end of that window. That alone is understandable because moves can often take more time than allotted, but the fact that they didn’t call or answer the phone, or emails or texts and I didn’t hear from them that they would

Very impressed with these guys. All were responsive, showed up on time, worked hard, were super nice, and then didn't even charge us the full amount because the job was smaller than was estimted. I have moved well over 30 times in my life, not to mention the countless other moving of furniture to and fro...this was - HANDS DOWN- THE ABSOLUTE BEST moving experience I have ever had in my life! Anthony, the owner, is attentive and helpful. I only had one small job, which I have never called a moving company for... but there were three gorgeous micentury teak pieces about an hour from me. I have moved a lot in my life and wish I found Big Hill sooner! Anthony and Chris were very nice on the phone. Patrick, Felipe, and one other young man did a very good job moving my things.
They were on time, respectful, kind, and communicated very well with me during the move.
I was in a storage unit and they made excellent time loading all my stuff into the truck. There was no procrastination, attitude, or rudeness on their part. Which I have experienced with other movers in the past A LOT.
Patrick also offered to reassemble my bed frame when some pieces were missing and later found.
They were on time, respectful, kind, and communicated very well with me during the move.

HIGHLY recommended! I have used four or five different moving services in the last few months due to downsizing, and without a doubt these guys are the best by far that I have used.
Scheduling was very easy and pricing was transparent. It was a last-minute request for 2 guys to unload a uhaul and carry stuff up a flight of stairs (17 steps) and then move some other furniture up and down a couple of flights of stairs all on a Saturday so it was not cheap but I have to say it was worth every penny.
They communicated well both before and on the day of the move and were on time, very polite, cheerful

I would give Big Hill Movers 10 stars, if Yelp would let me. We moved from Boxborough to Concord on one week's notice during the busiest week of the year. Lots of companies said, "Sorry, you're too late," but Anthony said yes. The truck arrived early with three men aboard instead of two, at no extra charge. Chris and his men did a quick survey and then worked for four straight hours. They wore masks at all times. They were courteous to us and each other. They worked fast, efficiently and carefully. Big Hill movers moved my stuff from Acton to Newton. Half my stuff went to a storage in Newton, and the other half went to a house. Anthony gave a pretty accurate estimate, and was very personable. They were recommended to me by our realtor, so I expected a smooth experience.

Anthony and his crew are phenomenal. They know what they are doing and provide service above and beyond. He can move your stuff and take any junk as well. Not only can Anthony move you from your place, he has a list of people who he works with frequently that can help you fix things in your house, paint rooms that need paint and can connect you with a realtor.
There is no one else I would use when it comes to moving.

We hired Anthony and his crew, and used them twice! Once in April and again in July.
They are a great group of guys. Courteous, hard working and a pleasure to work with.
I was totally amazed that they didn't loose any steam, even though they finished unpacking the truck at 12:30AM!
Everything was perfectly packed and they didn't break a thing.
After moving into our dream house, we're so not wanting to move again, but if we did....we'd call Anthony first!

Anthony and his team at Big Hill Movers are reliable, reasonably priced, and incredibly professional. We used Big Hill Movers recently to move our office into a new space. Anthony was incredibly responsive to our needs. Because of variables on our end, we had to change our date a couple of times, and Anthony was very accommodating. I basically had the same experience as some of the other posters. I contracted them to move my apartment, they gave me a quote. When they started the move they told me it was going to to cost much more than originally quoted. They then held my furniture for ransom (not unloading my furniture) until I paid the added amount.
In addition they lost the feet to a $300 ottoman and blamed me for it. They provided no contracts or receipts. While they Claes to be insured, they could not provide any proof.

Used these guys to move a heavyViking range to a location 67 miles away. The quote was reasonable.
On time at pick up location and no issues at that location. Drop off was just as pleasant according to my Daughter who was at home for the delivery.
A honest job for fair price in my opinion.
Would use again.

I am thoroughly pleased with the service I received from Big Hill Movers today. Anthony was able to squeeze me in within a day's notice, on busy Easter weekend no less. Anthony, Chris and Rich were extremely accommodating, were able to navigate my building's onerous parking/lobby-entry situation, were positive, friendly, and easy to communicate with.
