I am remiss since we have had our fence now for over two years but we are so happy with it. North Shore did a great job removing our old fence and installing the new. They came up today when I referred one of my son's friends to them and I figured, never to late to recognize what a pleasure it was to deal with them.

There is only one company to call when looking to fence your property, North Shore! I was highly referred by a friend to use them and I could not be happier with the outcome. They did exactly what they said they would in a very short amount of time. The installers were professional and diligent. Highly recommend using them on your next project.

These are really good people to deal with but unfortunately I didn't have a great experience. The fence was installed properly, however they took the material that came out of the post holes and spread it around my mulched beds. Leaving me to remove tons of sand and large stones. I'd recommend having the conversation of where the waste will be disposed beforehand. Had I known I would've left a tarp out there. Even though I feel it's the responsibility of the contractor to remove their waste I was told it wasn't. I'd have preferred having them pile it on a tarp over having to rake and dig.

We had a wonderful experience working with NSFence. It seems everyone is too busy to take on new projects during this COVID bump but NSFence came out for an estimate in a timely manner and were able to install my fence in 100 degree weather quickly so I could let me dogs roam free! They were even resourceful building a fence to my spec on-site so we didn't have to wait for the back order to come in and saving a mature vine from an old arbor to my newly installed arbor. I'm so thankful for the job they did with my new yard and would happily recommend them to my friends.

The sales rep.Erik was very professional and courteous.The installation crew was careful not to damage any plantings and worked quickly to removed the old wooden stockade fence and install the new chain link fence. We used North Shore Fence to install a 4 foot wood fence around our property 10 years ago. They did a nice job so we wanted to use them again in May of this year. We ordered the fence after Ken came out and measured. They installed it a few weeks later. However the section of fence that they were replacing had more rot than anticipated so i needed another 6 foot section. "No problem", Ken said, "I will call you in a few days when I can schedule you to install it". After about 10 days i was forced to leave a message for him to follow up. A week later he calls me and says "

EXCELLENT SERVICE, and well stocked with excellent quality products. They are a really great group of gentlemen that are easy to work with. We went in and not one of the three sales representatives wanted to help us. So my husband approached one of the guys and explained that we needed a gate. The guy obviously didn't want to help us or talk to us and I think I know why. He was very aloof and not willing to help or guide us with our request. So we got his business card and just left. I will not be giving him my business/ money. Sorry we weren't your regular type of customers.

Had my fence installed by them recently. From signing the contract to the actual install, it took about 3 weeks for them to come to do the job, which was about right. They applied the permit with the town before the job. The only thing they could have better was the communication. It seems they dont communicate too well. I had to make the call to find out when they would come out to do the job. Other then that, they seemed ok.

AND, Ken, from North Shore Fence, is your perfect example of honest business practice. After visiting my home to check and measure the dynamics involved in installing two new gates, he asked me WHY did I want to change them. He told me the present gates are in fine condition, and continued to say they should be changed only for aesthetic reasons.Before answering him, I sat down to catch my breath. He so caught me by surprise. Honesty does still exist !!!!

We fenced in our property nearly 4 years ago shortly after moving into our house in Westbury. North Shore fence at Hicks Nurseries did the job. We went with the brown pvc fence because it went with the trim on our house. They installed it and it looked great. Over a short period of time though it started to fade alot. Now the sun does pound it for most of the afternoon but considering how much extra we paid at the time it seemed as if we were getting stuck with a bum fence. A few months ago I called North Shore fence and told them what was happening. They came over and inspected it, they reached

Big ups to gang at North Shore Fence. I worked with Ken and Warren. Both fantastic! Part of our fence is finished and is GREAT and another part is in limbo due to permitting issues. North Shore Fence has been so helpful throughout the turmoil. Had to put up temporary fencing, which North Shore Fence did without making any fuss. Another classy touch: they put up a privacy screen against the chain linked fence so we could have some privacy while we work out the permitting issues. Nice!

Who would write a review of a fence company? Me. I was compelled to b/c they did such a wonderful job on my small backyard fencing out my neighbor's pool filter and other pool mechanics. Michael was the supervisor of the job and Eric set up the job. Cost about $700 and worth every penny. Work was neatly done, quickly done and it looks beautiful. I'm so happy with the results.
