I only needed about 20ft of fencing installed so was hesitant to call a big fence company figuring that they would consider the job too small. Not so with family lumber, they were happy to take on the project and did an amazing job. The entire experience from start to finish was smooth sailing. I would definitely recommend Family Fence to handle any job whether small or large.

I did not use this company for the specific reason that they were price gouging after having four estimates in for a 65 foot aluminum fence they threw a number of 7400 as an estimate to me it was more than doubled the other four estimates,Obviously they were just throwing it to the wall and seeing if it stuck , they didn't do the work but they wasted my time and their time on this crazy estimate

Can’t say enough good things about this company!!!!! Had vinyl fencing installed 2 years ago and had a good experience then. After this winter I noticed one of the picket caps had blown off and was nowhere to be found. This spring I contacted Frank ( office manager) to see how I could get a replacement. He couldn’t have been more accommodating. Not only was he able to get me a matching replacement, he also gave me a few extra. Then, he refused to accept any payment !!!! I highly recommend this company!!!

Friendly and quick service. Called them on Friday, had a very nice rep come out next week and price on the spot. Reasonable pricing, scheduled install 4 weeks later. Called me in 2 weeks that they had an opening and installed after only 2 weeks from estimate over 200 feet of vinyl fence. Clean professional installation done in 1 day. Would definitely recommend to others.

I hired Family Fence in mid June 2020 to do both a PVC installation and also 226 ft of chain link fence. I paid $2000 more than what 2 other fence companies were going to charge me because they offered free financing. The fence ended up costing me just under $15,000 and that is why I opted for the financing. In November 2020 about 4 months after installation I had my 1st issue. One of my PVC double gates snapped right off. Did weather play a role...? It was a typical windy night, not anything that would blow a fence off. I received their name from Angies List. I asked for an estimate on a job to replace a damaged fence destroyed when a tree fell on it during the storm. They would not come to the property, but insisted I send them photos. Then they wanted more photos. They gave a price through Angies List. I asked for a wriiten estimate and they refused. They said that I would have to pay for the estimate or hire them for the job. I wanted to get a few prices so I was not going to hire them without shopping. Every single stage, these folks would provide me updates. There were no surprises in the price, no add ons, no extras and no excuses. Their professionals worked in miserable weather conditions, without a single complaint. The installers made one suggestion, that I move the location of the fence back 5 feet, in order to NOT block the sunlight. At first, I thought they were looking for an easier way out, but that was me being a skeptic. I'm very glad that I listened to their suggestion and I'm more than happy with the quality of the workmanship. Top notch, from beginning to end.

This company installed a simple wood fence and converted my yard into a thing of beauty. In addition, when a correction needed to be made a short while later they were quick to respond and back their work. Our wood fence was damaged and based on good reviews we reached out to Family Fence for an estimate to replace it. First we went to their Bellmore store to check out samples (they have a great selection) and chose a "Grand Illusions" vinyl fence that looks like wood w/o the maintenance. Pricing was good for the product we chose and installation went off without a hitch.

If you want your fence done right, if you want to make sure the people you are hiring are dependable, honest, responsible Please call Family Fence. I made the mistake of going through ______ thinking that because they are a big company I would get better service. OMG! what a mistake. To make a long story short, Frank from Family Fence had to step in and help us. _______ was not returning our calls, they were not updating me on when my fence was going to be installed. After changing insurance companies they made us install hand rails on our steps. Not knowing who to use we reached out to social media and a lot of people recommended family fence. I went with my wife and we picked out the rails and the date they were to be installed. Our aluminum railings came out great and matched the house perfectly. They were installed sturdy(don't shake)but the only flaw was that the installers forgot to clean up their mess afterwards and i had to sweep up aluminum shavings in my driveway and street. Other than that extra exercise i was given , we are more than happy

We just had a 37' x 8-1/2' deck replaced/installed - actually the guys are still out there cleaning up. I cannot say enough about the crew - Omar, Winston, William and Thomas. I don't believe I have ever seen a crew work harder; they were meticulous in all they did - the deck exceeds all of our expectations!! Not enough good words to describe my experience with Family Fence. From my initial phone call, to the salesman's visit and quote through today's installation, this team is top notch.
I do not buy fences every day and the way they took me through the process made this a simple project.
It was a simple 50 foot stockade and I feel like I was treated as if I was giving them a 500 foot deal. My installers actually told me how it was going in and reviewed my house survey to confirm all information.
I will be recommending them for year's to come and already encouraged my neighbor
