Our single sided wood sections are wood pickets nailed onto wood rails. They have a "good side" and a "bad side". Very happy we went with Amendola. New fence looks great. I appreciate how thorough they were from the early stages of offering estimates, in working together on both look and price, in removing our old chain link, being flexible with a neighbor’s tree stump (removing it) and with the final product. Ten year labor guarantee, this is one and done- won’t have to worry about it now. Thanks Amendola!!!

We decided to upgrade our property since we weren't traveling much ...Our fence was on its last POST so to speak - I interviewed many fence companies and I have to be honest they were all aweful had no customer service and one tried to even raise the price after I called him back to give deposit ....Literally hopeless. My Landscaper said try Amendola's. I called and the sales person came out gave me a price and took measurements. Quick and Painless... Decided to book it ....from then on I dealt with Jane. EASY PEASY --- no muss no fuss ....COVID has made alot of materials hard to get

Very pleased with amendola. Used them to fix my neighbors fence that my son broke. Customer service responded quickly to my email request and Marvin came to fix within 2 weeks. Reasonable price and quality workmanship. They were respectful of my property as well as my neighbors property. Will be using them in the fall for my railing

UPDATE: i finally got my money back. It took over 60 days to get a refund, and it only happened after posting my review. They also said they had sent a hard check on august 4th, and I still haven't received it.
So it sounds like they made some updates to their policy re: corner houses so their salesman can't blatantly lie to customers to make a sale.
I appreciate the office for finally getting my money back but it doesn't change the fact that I'd never recommend them to anyone.

Patty was great with getting us set up.
When time to install came, twice we set up dates and twice they scheduled us on they came a week later.
The crew didn't understand what we wanted and messed it up.
When the last crew showed up, they were the best and did an outstanding job. Wish I they were there the first time.

Amended 1/29/21 to note that the job has been completed. The company called me the day after this review was posted, and the work was completed the following week.
We have a wood fence from Amendola installed in 2005. We've replaced many sections over the years as the wood degrades over time, as you would expect. What I didn't expect was the difference between their responsiveness to a sales order and their responsiveness to a repair request. They were quick to reply when I was spending thousands on a new sale. But it is a very different story when you need their help after that sale

Our second experience was pretty bad. It was bad enough we were going to use another company this time but their salesperson was so misogynistic I gave up and called Amendola's back.

Everything (sans two issues due to the pandemic) was PERFECT!

My experience with Amendola's fence was surprisingly good. I'm always wary when it comes to hiring subcontractors but Cameron put my mind at ease. His extensive knowledge on fences was reassuring to me. From that initial visit I knew this company would do an amazing job installing our fence and gates. Scheduling with them was a breeze. And the crew that came was professional. I love that they cleaned up their debris without me giving them the eye. I won't hesitate to hire them again!

I honestly don't want to waste more of my time on them so I'll only include the worst of it... but every single step of the process after I signed the contract with them was absolutely terrible.
They made mistake after mistake. They ruined our slate by cutting holes bigger than necessary and never filling them. They cut random unnecessary holes. They told me they would be here at a certain time and came 5 hours

I agree with Eric G...they are such a pleasure until they make the sale and then it is all downhill. We had them do a fence for us and spent over $5000. At that time, we did not finish the whole yard. We had one section left and expressed that we would complete it once we were financially able. (They did not like that answer). We were given a price by their son and he promised he would personally take care of us when we were ready to do the last section.
SO we called about a year and a half later and suddenly the price went up another $1000 from the original amount!! We were told by "Patty

After 3 years of having the fence, the quality went and so did the customer service. Carl's fence is my home town local fence company and it appears I should have gone with them. I had a few different estimates when It was time to find a company. After looking around, Amendola's fence quality won me over by stating "you can slam our gates as hard as you want, they are reinforced with metal". Fast forward 3 years, I never slam the gates, ever! I hardly use my one gate, and just the other day I go out to take the garbage to the street and find the gate corner is completely separated
