Blizzard Fences

Upsold me on automatic gates locks that never closed correctly. Came back to adjust and they still didnt close correctly. Because of the failure to self close the wind cracked the gate post. Lock now completely broken.

2 stars represents the work completed, although I paid the full contracted price. I hired Blizzard to replace the 2 railings around a loading dock. The quotation was made via emails and photos sent to Blizzard with detailed descriptions of the job, including pictures of each of the 2 railings.

Blizzard repaired (note: not replaced) one railing. Due to the distance of the property and timing, I decided to trust them (mistake) and paid them without inspecting the job. When I eventually got to see the job and found that they only completed one railing, I contacted Blizzard. They then claimed

We needed railings for the front steps of our home. We basically did everything over the phone! The installers arrived on time, they were friendly, professional and extremely neat. We are very pleased with the quality of the railings and the ease of the transaction.

Blizzard fence is the worst company, rude, sales person GUZZ is a money hungry, fence is crooked, material looks cheap. Lady in the office Donna was unprofessional, nasty. Run, Run. The crew that came looks drunk, they removed your stuff in your backyard not even telling you.
Tony who was supposed to be the manager, is the worst person to talk to...

I made an appointment with them in the middle of July and the first available slot they had to repair my fence was for August 11. I didn’t receive a call the day prior so I called but no
Answer and left a massage trying to see when the service would be, considering I took off work for this. Website said they opened up at 9am. I call another 3 times, nothing. Then around 10am when I finally got in touch with someone they said they didn’t have me on any paper work not only for today but at all. What a joke of a company. Typical for what you would get when your dealing with these “mom and pop”

Recently Blizzard Fence installed a fence in our backyard. This is the second fence installation we have had with Blizzard. They not only arrived on time but their work was meticulous from removing and discarding the old fence to installing the new fence. We are extremely pleased with the service. I had the most terrible experience with this company. They really screwed me over with my fence that I need to fix with a different company now. For they will never get another dime from me or anyone I know. Come to find out 3 posts are not even into the ground have no cement and not only did my gate door blow off but my fence is leaning for the 2nd time and they charged me an extra $1150 for the 2 visits to "fix the fence" RUN AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!!

Our experience was 5 star. About 2 years ago we had damage to our cyclone fence from a storm. We have 2 dogs so this created quite a problem for us. Tony, the owner was more than responsive and arrange to come to our home within a day. The work was completed quickly, cleanly, with the workers being more than polite and professional.
I wrote this review because I saw some negative ones on Yelp, which are so contrary to our experience. We know others who have used Blizzard and have been equally pleased. We can be difficult to please but I don't have anything but compliments for Blizzard Fence

Bought a cedar fence, had it installed. Guys did a great job. However, after I looked at the fence, they put up a Blizzard Fence sign. I don't want a sign on my fence. I'm not paid by Blizzard to advertise their company. And, I paid a lot of money for a small amount of fence. So they put up the sign and put holes in the wooden posts from the screws. Called and told them I was not happy that I was not asked if they could put up the sign. They said someone would come out the following week to remove and fill the holes with wood putty. Great, on new posts.....They never showed up

Did a great job. Had no problems. Our expectations were met
Was assured if there is any issue, to call and they will resolve.
Overall, good job, and would recommend to anyone.

I still look my fence from my window in front of my house. Looks beautiful, straight and strong. Such a great job George did. I can not thank him enough. Two years ago I hired Blizzard Fence to install two tone (tan/white) PVC fence in three quarters of my backyard. There was no problem. I went to work and left them in my yard to install. I came home for lunch that day and everything was going fine. I believe Tony was on the jobsite overseeing the work. This year I had hedges removed from the fourth side of my yard and hired Blizzard to install the remaining quarter.
Friday, June 17 was install day after waiting three weeks. The day began with two installers showing up an hour later than the promised time (11:00 when 10:00 was promised

Great job by all! The sales rep was personable. The woman setting up the appt and the workers were all great. No complaints here!

One star is one too many. This company simply should not exist. They are horrible people and yelled at my wife on the phone. Human beings who are trying to make a living should not have to put up with that. All we wanted was a fence, and we paid dear, hard-earned money for that. Sadly, in the end, all we ended up with was a sense of anxiety after the "job" was done (the owner constantly reminded me of the fact that he knew where I lived, and how many children I had), and a fence that lasted a few months. Save yourself a lifetime of angst and do the job yourself. It really is not that
