Always run a full load. Just like other major appliance, it will use same amount of energy on matter the load size. If possible use AIR-DRY. AIR-DRY saves more energy. Use Jet-Dry, it will allow your dishes to dry quicker. Always run your sink water unit it is Hot. Filling your Unit with Hot water will improve your end result.

I had a serviceman come out to look at a dishwasher. The labor and parts would cost more than the actual dishwasher. On top of that there was a service charge just to examine the problem for about 8 minutes. The repairman wanted to replace the entire motor. I then had a different company come out and they’re replacing a specific part and the repair is significantly less and does not require the entire motor.

I am disgusted with this company! 1 month and a half for my washer to get fix. This appliance is very important to run my business. Every time I called the owner answering the phone would tell me he’s not in the office and he will call me later. I had to be persistent and basically beg for him to finish the job. After waiting weeks the day of the repair he had to cancel. Big surprise. On top of being unreliable he made Derogatory! Inappropriate! comments to my employees about myself (I wasn’t present). I just called them to ask if they could come out and fix my dishwasher because it was not filling with water and they told me what to do over the phone at no charge and it worked. It was as simple as turning on a valve. It is so hard to find good, honest help and now whenever I need someone to come out, I am definitely calling Gator Appliance!

I recently had an issue with my ice maker in my side by side freezer. It was not producing ice, had a musty odor and there was freezer burn all over. Max did an awesome job. He helped to get all the ice out and get it clean and replaced the parts needed. He then went above and beyond to teach me how to properly use my fridge and freezer, showed the optimal settings on each and how much to store in the freezer to avoid having less problems in the future with freezer burn and to not overload it.

I woke up today and realized my ice maker wasn't working. The little ice lever was broken and I didn't know how to fix it so I called Gator Appliance Repair Services at 8:30 AM. I was created by a very nice gentleman. I explained the problem over the phone. He said, my friend let me save you a $100. He directed me how to fix it on my own in 3 minutes. My old Maytag, built in Davenport, Iowa, the interior drum paddle was loose.
I called Max, because he serviced my dishwasher about a year ago. Came out the next day, on time.
The drum needed t come out, to repair the old girl. Was neat, organized, and business like. Charge was reasonable. Will continue to be a customer with Gator, when needed.
In addition he cleaned, vacumed out lint, and lubed it, and hopefully extended this dependable dryer.

Called them because my refrigerator was having issues. Turns out the refrigerator was not broken, it was an issue with the electrical plug. Once the refrigerator was plugged into another electrical outlet it worked. Even thought there was no repair (no broken parts, no loose cables, nothing), they decided to charge for "labor hours" in addition to the $95 diagnostic fee. You can't charge for a repair of something that is not broken. Do not recommend.

When our wall unit over range RV microwave/convection oven decided to power off we were not too happy. Most of the videos and online articles spoke of a fuse or grounding wire and the nightmare to reach them. As we began to investigate removing it from the holding bracket we chose to make a call to an appliance repair shop to see if we could drop it off. I found “Gator Appliance Repair” on the map and called. The man that answered the phone agreed the power off is probably a fuse or ground. When I asked if we had to unscrew all (what seems like 100 screws) to get in it???LoL “NO” he says

Long story short. The good folks of Florida have got it made. Sadly we live in Texas and our so called Electrolux top of the line Dryer quit drying last night after only a year of service. While googling the error code from the display, the Gator Yelp listing came up with a picture of our dryer and the error code in the caption. So on a whim I called Miami from Texas and the gentleman that answered told me I needed to replace the heating module and how to find one. Since I am a do-it-youselfer, I'm reasonably sure I can replace the part without electrocuting myself. I wouldn't recommend

I just used Gator Appliance Repair Services to replace the glass stovetop on my kitchen range and they were wonderful. My glass stovetop had a crack in the corner due to a bottle falling and hitting it. I bought a replacement part hoping to fix it myself but a few minutes of staring at it dissuaded me from even attempting it (the range is cemented into the floor and you can't even pull it out to work on it). I called at 8:00 am to explain my issue, I had an appointment set for the same day. Not only quick, but so professional phone answering and whatever I was told was truth from the beginning: I was called 15-20 minutes before the technician arrived, appointment was set on same date in the afternoon shift that started at noon, I was called at 11:40.
After analyzing the fridge, I was given a temporary solution until the piece that needs to be replaced will come in. I thought this would take weeks, instead it is only one day. Beautiful service, very recommended. And very professional.

Update: they supposedly "fixed" my washer. I was later told there was nothing wrong with it after they came a second time. When I showed the technician a video of what it was supposed to look like while agitating, I was told, "If you want it to do that, you're speaking a whole different language." After calling another repair person, we realized a piece was broken causing it to not agitate. I highly recommend Gator Appliance Repair Service ("GARS")! We had a leak on our LG front load washer that needed repair. We initially tried contacting LG directly but I wasn't comfortable with their process for ordering a service call. So after searching Yelp for another repair service in my area, I contacted GARS because of their good reviews and because they were open on the weekend. I spoke to Max. It was already late in the day and they were booked up, so they had to schedule me for Monday between 12-4pm, which was Christmas Eve. I really wanted to get the issue resolved

This is an online review that I hope every homeowner reads!! My Kenmore Elite washing machine kept getting stuck on the spin cycle, and my patience had run out, and I went out and financed a new machine. When I got home I realized I was about to spend $1200 without having it checked.
