I contacted A1 Windows & Doors in early October 2020 regarding replacing 4 very old leaky windows in my condo. On October 9th A1 sent an estimator to my condo. He measured & gave me the contract price which I agreed to and signed the contract. He was very professional and friendly. He told me the windows would be ordered & the

I had four quotes for new patio doors and windows at our Indian Shores condominium. Jim was by far the most patient and informational. They had what I referred to as an Army of People managing my relatively small job - From accurate measuring to the work crew to a job coordinator and follow up. Great experience, I had one issue with a a screen door and they were right on top of it. Priced right in the middle but worth the small premium. Will definitely recommend A1!

I hired A1 Windows and Doors to replace our front door and 7 original windows in my 1920 house. The windows and doors are all great quality, installation was extremely smooth and quick and I had no issues with the entire process. From Jim giving a free, fully written estimate and providing useful tips on the sales side to Robin and Joe being honest and respectful on the service side, everything went great. Went great and was a great experience from the sales man to the installation. The salesman wasn’t pushy, didn’t try to up sell us but listened to our needs and reasons for updating. We replaced all our windows that were the original 40 year old aluminum single pane, the original sliding glass door, and had a storm door replaced with a solid door. The installation team was very professional, courteous, and the workmanship looks flawless.

I purchased a new door from A1 a few weeks ago. The entire experience of dealing with A1 was outstanding. They were responsive to my initial inquiry, without being pushy. I needed hurricane shutters that were motorized for large window openings and hand cranked for smaller ones so that I could close them myself. The staff at A 1 Windows were professional and courteous throughout the entire process. They kept in contact with me and explained the next steps in the installation. Their financing is hard to beat at just 1% for 24 to 36 months. The installers cleaned my sun room after they were done and my flower beds were intact. If I have to evacuate at least I know my home is protected.

We have a three story townhouse with 6 openings installed. Some of the challenges were a window that is 15' from floor to bottom of window, and one opening 10' tall by 4' wide (requiring multiple windows). We are very pleased with all work performed. The windows function great and look great. The price value proposition was better, we believe, than an alternative quote. There were challenges in that our property line is very close to the Pasadena Yacht Club golf course. Installation required the use of a "cherry picker." I had some of the pushiest sales men give me the most detailed mind numbing pitches even though I knew specifically what I wanted. Jim Dell did not treat me like an ill informed consumer and gave me exactly what I had hoped for when other company's told me out right it was impossible. Ordered 2 front doors in Jan and delivered in March. Both the salesman and the installer on 2 visits took all the measurements. When doors came, installer measured them and advised wrong size. They would call mfg. and advise when replacements would be available. 2 days later informed me the mfg doesn't make an 8" door. and they cancelled the order and did refund my deposit. A large company has no other source, unbelievable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with A1!
