I purchased a kitchen faucet from Lowe's in Lodi, but the initial contractor that was schedu;ed and confirmed through Handy did not arrive as promised, then told me that they did not service Lodi. i must fist say they are coronavirus (covid-19) safe with masks to protect themselves and there customers.
i called awesome lawson's plumbing last night oct 8, 2020 because my water heater was over flowing with water and flooded part of my gargage. i could not turn the water off and it had been flowing from the top of the water heater for just about 1 hour and out of the few 24 hours plumbers in my area that i called

Josh was absolutely amazing working on this project. It involve dealing with my crazy neighbors, it involve dealing with the crazy City, and an involve dealing with someone else's property and getting an easement to go on their land. We called at 4 pm and Awesome Lawson's Plumbing said he would be there by 5:30 pm. Same Day. He called me at 5:30 to say he was 10 minutes late, and then he showed up at 5:40 pm. Charged $125 for about 45 minutes of work that didn't fix the problem. Recommended jetting the drain next for another $250 said it wouldn't take more then and hour so that's $375 for 2 hours of work. Said no to jet couldn't see myself paying 250 for an hour of work. Tried using 20% off coupon that the company sent to me in the mail and was first told no but then he called his boss and said it was fine. Still $100 for nothing but a mess that I myself have to clean up. When the guy left he just said "sorry for the mess". DO NOT WORK WITH THESE GUYS.

I originally started with a single issue that needed to be fixed...a leaky faucet. Josh was right on in responding to my on line estimate request. He showed up within the time frame he gave. While he was there, I asked about a leaky toilet flapper valve, and another leaky bathroom sink. Without hesitation, Josh looked at each, noted the probable replacement parts and went out to get them. On his return, he had all three problems fixed within minutes, and still charged a very good price.

They have done 3 jobs for me: the first was contracted thru Home Depot, a water heater install. Was fine at a fair price. Then they replaced the sewer line and it was a disaster. Hit the water main and flooded the backyard. Ground still mud a month later. Killed off $100 worth of plants and left a pile of mud and a leaky hose bibb. Would nor hire them again. A third job (leaking kitchen pipe) cost $475, way too much for what they did.

I realized on a Sunday that I had no hot water so I checked the heater and noticed the pilot light wasn't lit. I tried repeatedly to get it back on myself but it was no use. I called first thing Monday morning and this company was able to send someone out to my house "between 4 and 6 p.m."
I took the employee, I believe his name was Roger, around back and showed him my hot water heater. He didn't even touch the water heater. Never pushed the igniter. Never bent down to look and see if it was lit. NOTHING. He just said I needed a new one. I told him I had tried relighting it
