Interesting experience. Technician came and told me that it would cost over $2k to fix my AC unit (new motor), they stated part alone cost over $1200. He was there for 10 min, and I was charged $100. The same day another company repaired the AC for $500, the part cost $250. When I contacted the owner, they didn't care, they insisted that I owed them $100 for a service fee. In addition, I informed the owner that I would share my experience with others that referred me to them only to be told that they will put me on the "do not service" list! I placed a complaint with my bank and explained the circumstances

This was the best service contractor we have had in Naples! I will highly recommend this company to my family and friends. I am quickly learning that a good AC service contractor is crucial to life in FL and we were lucky enough to find J.P. Brett & Sons through a recommendation of a friend. The staff was wonderful on the phone from my first call and when Cody came out to assess our AC system and install a new thermostat we couldn’t have been more pleased! He was terrific! J.P. We had a new air conditioning unit installed 2 years ago with a new thermostat. The unit stopped working so we put in a service call. The problem was the thermostat. The technician was extremely nice and apologized for having to charge us a 99. charge for coming out and then an additional 145. charge to repair the thermostat! He called his manager, Carlos, to get the charge reduced but to no avail. Carlos then called us and he would not budge one dollar on the charges. When the technician thinks you are being overcharged and the manager won't do anything about it, I call that bad service!!! 244

Ray was amazing and so thorough! He took the time to explain not only how my system worked and what needed attention, but how I could keep it running well.
