We were very pleased with work prospect did. We gathered several offers for our residential solar project and Prospect offered us excellent pricing on high-quality panels. We first heard about them because our local nonprofit energy alliance had worked with them previously and had good things to say about them. The most impressive part was the communication from initial options for variable sized systems at different price points, to implementation of each stage of the process. Prospect solar installed my 12.7kw system in Aug 2019. I love my solar system and its very addicting to see how much power is generating. Also I love that I have more self-reliance and not dependent on grid energy. Prospect was great. Very professional and effcient.
The one thing I should warn that if you live in VA- if your system is 15KW or higher - dominion will charge a stand by fee. It is not easy to understand how they get the fee as they manually calculate. So keep you system at 14.9kw or below in VA. This standby fee can really detract from your savings.

Prospect Solar did a very professional job. The installation was clean, safe, and efficient. They do a very good job communicating - I felt like I knew exactly where we were in the process the entire time. They arranged for all of the planning, design, permitting, and utility coordination. We have had nothing but great things to say about our experience with Prospect Solar. The fact that NOVEC, our utility, decided to partner with Prospect Solar was a bit factor in selecting them.. In addition, friends of ours had recently used them to build a large solar array at their farm. We also chose to install a relatively large solar array in a pasture on our farm. The installation went smoothly and the workmen were friendly and courteous. Since our installation in June 2017 we had not had one electric bill as of February this year.

Exellent, high-performing, thoroughly professional firm, with team that is extremely easy to deal with. Really care about their customers, whom they treat as clients in the best sense. Did a great job in the installation phase. Made it seamless. Then, have always been there for us when we encountered problems (i.e., animal gnawing through a wire, monitoring equipment -- from different vendor -- failure). Staff very committed to the work and the client. Rather than leave customers to struggle with DIY trouble-shooting for more than a first try, they will make a house call to get the issue solved

It was a pleasure working with Prospect Solar. Everyone we interacted with on their team was professional and responsive. Our project was more complicated than most given that we were building a new home and this was our builder's first experience with solar. The Prospect team handled it like pros, making the time to educate our builder and carefully coordinate scheduling throughout the installation and inspection processes.

We installed a Prospect system last Fall and couldn't be more pleased. Our sales guy Wyatt was great, easy to to talk to and responsive when we had a question. The only slightly problematic part of the install was the permitting, in the City of Fairfax. The delay was not Prospect's fault, and as soon as the permits were ready they were on top of the installation. We installed 16 360 watt panels, and absolutely love it. We initially chose Prospect Solar because they offered the most attractive proposal (in terms of panel quality and pricing) out of three solar companies. However, it turned out to be an awful experience for us. In short, after signing a contract with them, they were unable to deliver the system that they promised, and in the process caused us substantial stress and delay in getting a solar system installed.
