He gained much of his experience in tree work and crew management through previous employment as a foreman with Mr. Trees" and later with "Artistry in Trees", two prominent tree care companies in Marin County California.

My neighbor has been using Pineda's for over 20 years, so we thought we would give them a try. We were thrilled with the work they did. Kevin's crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. They were very efficient and took great care when cutting down trees near our house. They cleaned up all of the saw dust and wood chips afterwards, leaving our backyard looking immaculate!

I highly recommend Kevin and his crew. Kevin was the only person that responded with a quote when I put in the request on yelp. All others just said call our office. Kevin came by the same day to take a look and firmed up the quote which was reasonable. Kevin and his crew were out a few days later, were on time, did a great job, and cleaned everything up which was a big job (the only way from the back of the house, where the tree is, to the front is through the house.) The palm tree looks great as you can see from the before and after pictures.

We have an old beautiful tree that needed pruning and we had neglected it since we bought the house.
One branch got really heavy and broke during a windy night It left quite a mess and we're doing a to of work in the yard (digging trenches for a electric!) so it was really bad timing.
Kevin showed up for a quote and talked through all the things that needed to be done.
He was able to come the next day with his crew and do a beautiful job of shaping the tree and give some great advice to make the tree as healthy as possible.

I am so glad we hired Kevin for our tree stump removal project. My mom had at least a dozen stumps ranging from 4 inches to 2 1/2 feet that needed to be ground down. The quote we got from him was very reasonable and he was able to come out a week after he came to give us the estimate. The other company we got a quote from was 3 weeks out and cost more. He was scheduled to come on a Saturday at 8 a.m. and he arrived right at 8 a.m. He was able to grind a couple of the stumps that were on a slope that the other company said they couldn't do. We received multiple quotes on a handful of unhealthy trees in our yard. We went with Pinedas based on their pricing, a friend's recommendation, and watching them work in a neighbors yard. Even when they were cutting someone else's tree, they swept and blew our yard and carport roof- so not a trace of sawdust was left in sight. We got this referral from Nextdoor and couldn't be happier. Ernesto and his crew were honest and reasonable with their prices as compared to other estimates we got and they did a great job with trimming, removing pods and dead leaves and cleaning up. Definitely would recommend them and use them again as our go to tree trimmers.

I watched Roberto and his crew working in Muir Beach many years ago and was so impressed with his artistic pruning that I've had him prune my huge eucalyptus tree and shrubs for the past 15 years. To watch him direct his crew from the ground on which branches to remove is a beautiful example of good communication! He and his crew are respectful, hard working and competent. I would recommend him to anyone who cares about the shape and health of their trees.

This company is completely unprofessional and caused serious damage to my car. Without letting me know they stacked huge tree branches right behind my car blocking me in. I was late for work and asked them to move the branches back and they barely moved them and I kept telling them I couldn't back up. They caused me to be so frazzled and disoriented I hit my car on the pole holding up the carport because they gave me no room to back up. This has caused thousands of dollars in damage and caused me to miss work. Horrible, horrible company.
