I was with another AC company and they installed a brand new seen fir my home in April 2021, which never worked right. That incompetent company came, eventually with the owner who never bothered to call me with his findings. All they did was put the blame on me for its dysfunction. It stopped working totally again this past Friday when the outside temperature rangedvfromb86vtob90. It was 83 degrees in my house. I was sweatingbprofusely and actually COULN NOT BREATHE I WASVSO SHORT OF BREATH and gasping for air.. They could not come out until late Tuesday afternoon and wanted my charge card in case

From the beginning every single person I ever came in contact with that has been affiliated with this company has been nothing but punctual, respectful and quick & efficient with every service call. Scheduling has never been an issue and NEVER any pushy sales calls, my uncle just recently used them by my request to install a completely new system with replaced ducts and all! I cannot tell you enough how impressed I was with everyone at Tropic Air. Monday I called after having a loud noise from my outside unit. I wanted to set up an appt and they got me in that day!! They said they were busy yet they got me in. And Rob, can't say enough about him either, was at my door a couple hours earlier than they thought he could make it. He knew pretty quickly was the issue and with a couple calls to Jessica I believe, she made sure my warranty would be good. We had an OLD AC & the air handler was leaking. We called Tropic Air right away because we have used them before and trust them. Rob came out right away, checked everything, & told us we needed a new unit. Rob is very knowledgeable! We were very happy happy with George, Mike, and Steve's work in putting in a new AC, replacing the old, original ductwork , adding new insulation and cleaning it all up!! George was so helpful in giving us tips on maintaining our systems. We will ALWAYS call Tropic Air Conditioning!!!

We recently moved into an older mobile home and the A/C was not cooling our home to be comfortable. Tropic Air came out and inspected the old unit as well as all the duct work under our home. It was in terrible shape. They explained every step of what they were doing and why. Their combined knowledge and teamwork blew me away. Very thorough until they were finished in one day! I bought a new AC unit from Tropic Air and it was installed with precision within 24 hours. The whole team I worked with, from Joe the owner to Rob who sold me the system and Mike and George who installed it, were professional, experienced, and accommodating. Anytime AC goes down in Florida a speedy repair is essential. I called Tropic air and the team went way above and beyond when the system went down knowing I had children in my home they did everything they could to make sure I had air as quick as possible. Their service techs were highly knowledgeable,personable,honest and truly professional. I can’t express how pleased we are with the service received and best of all the air is blowing cold again!

I changed my gate code after these guys came and blocked their phone number... several years later they are still mailing me for service since they can't get through via phone. The technician was horrible. IMO he was high, I felt like he cased me house and he told me stories of how his neighbor called the Police on him after he worked on her unit and when clients have gotten a second opinion how often he was surprised that the other Co. would throw him under the bus. He tried to get me to do work "under the table" for a discounted price and no warranty, I was not interested

A/C went out Sunday night, called Mondy morning and was back to 72 degrees by 3:00pm. The technician was great. He was professional, explained he issue so i could understand and started the job that minute. The pricing was vary fair and the service was outstanding. I will use them for maintenance, and repairs moving forward. It is hard to find a good plumber, electrician and A/C guy. Well i now have the A/C part covered. Thank you Tropic Air.

Asked for and scheduled a Service Call to perform a full system diagnosis. Asked for a copy to be made of a startup sheet or a job report with all the temps and pressures. Unit was not cooling the same this year has the last. Something changed. Sent a maintenance tech that may have been knowledgable, but refused any type of sheet. This would have helped me determine whether it was the equipment or ducting problem. Instead the tech wanted to upsell me on duct sealing. Tech did not see or check the top of the discharge plenum that was beginning to lose the sealing that was performed at install. My

Tropic Air is the best! Lighting struck my a/c unit and fried it. They gave me a great price to replace the a/c unit, with next day installation. Several hours after installation there was a problem with the drain pipe, they were back immediately and stayed until the problem was fixed. As always they have done a fantastic job for us! Tropic Air has been our go to a/c company for about 15 years. They installed our original central unit in our old 1925 house back then and have always handled our maintenance over they years.

Had new top-of-the-line Rheem a/c unit installed 4 years ago. Had several service calls, mainly to find freon leak. Finally, after over $1000 of repairs, they found the leak in the evaporator coil. Warranty replacement cost $190 labor PLUS $161 PROCESSING FEE! Tried to talk to owner. He never returned any of my calls. Oh, and one service rep said that the reason it wasn't cooling anymore was that I needed new ductwork for $5000 to make it work . Fortunately, I didn't take his advice.
