At Changes Interior Design, the start of a new project is always fun. We explore different styles, consider what's "trending" and pour through brochures, magazines and websites to pull together a design concept which will inform every decision and selection to come. If desired, we can also render the project and/or use different visualization tools to start to see how different options will work together.
Once we have a design concept for your project and have made initial selections, we pull together all of the options and costs. We also gather bids from contractors and put together a schedule to manage every aspect of the project. We will re-work this plan as needed until you approve every selection, cost and contractor.
Construction, installation of flooring, cabinets & counters, painting, delivery of furnishings, and hanging of art are all examples of tasks that fall in the performance phase. Understand that no matter what is required, we are involved in every aspect of the project.

We have done business with Michele for several years and we liked some of her designs on lighting so well that we bought extra to hang in our showroom. She has done beautiful designs on steel doors and gates that we have made and installed in her customer homes. We value her business and know she takes very good care of her clients and subcontractors.

This was our first experience working with a designer, and now we will always hire one- specifically, Michelle Robertson of Changes Interior Design! We bought a 4000 sq. ft. house in North Scottsdale that we completely remodeled from top to bottom. We were feeling overwhelmed with all of the decisions we had to make early on and decided to look into hiring a designer to help us with the process. My husband was reluctant at first, but once we started working with Michelle, he quickly agreed that hiring her had been well worth the expense.

My first experience with a designer and although Michelle is a great person, easy to get along with... I felt I overpaid for what I got.
The expectation was that she would just decorate the first floor of my new home in 2 weeks time...the challenge was accepted yet 6 weeks later, lack of communication and always to have to follow up every few days on progress... I didn't get done half of what I expected to accomplish.
My first and definitely last time paying for someone to help me decorate.

Michelle was great to work with. I needed assistance on new paint colors for the bathrooms and she helped me make great selections. She also helped me pick out new window coverings for the kitchen and a new light fixture. She provided some good suggestions for accessories to finish off my rooms (including helping me with what to do by the TV - we have a high shelf and nothing below and was able to suggest something to complete the area). Michelle was helpful in making suggestions and provided some additional clarification on questions and ideas via email after we met.

We took advantage of Michelle's coupon for a 2-hour consultation for $100 to get advice on color selection for the interior of our house.
We wanted something bolder than the various shades of tan we currently had, but I was not at all confident in my ability to select the colors. Michelle picked out various colors for main walls, accent walls, and niches. It was a combo of colors I would not have considered and was a bit nervous about it, but we decided to tryst her and WOW! It looks fantastic! A friend commented that our house now looks like a model home.

Michelle has years of experience and can just walk into your home and help you with any project large or small. She helped me pick colors to change my entire house from walls to ceilings. I wanted to keep all my furnishings and she helped with placement and updates to make everything look fresher.
