Owner and founder of Hero Moving Hawaii, Inc., Gabriel Gross has been in the moving business since 2005. He started as a helper, learning all aspects of operations in the moving business. For the last nine years, Gabriel lived in Hawaii and has been running long distance and inter-island moving operations ever since.
Just because you live on our beautiful Hawaiian Islands does not mean, moving has to be more complicated or stressful. We believe in providing low cost and efficient moving. Our staff has performed thousands of local residential moves and they will happily answer any questions that you may have. We will take care of all your residential moving needs, whether you are moving to a new place in the same city - or even in the same neighborhood, and believe it or not, it will cost you less than it would if you were to carry out the move yourself.
Moving between islands might appear more complicated than just moving from county to another and there is certainly some truth to it. Inter-island moving is as complex of a process as any long-distance move. Added are the inconveniences of dealing with port schedules, containers, agricultural inspections and logistics.

Hero Moving Hawaii was recommended by another mover who was unable to confirm appt, and Gabe at Hero Moving was very professional and thorough in discussing what kind of move and when we wanted. The truck arrived on time and the team of 4 led by Jordan was fast, friendly & efficient in collecting and moving the boxes and furniture out to their truck, wrapping heirloom dressers and delicate HDTV especially carefully. They finished the move-out in half the estimated and arriving at our new apt. moved the items and unwrapped everything quickly and all the time checking with us as to where & how to

These guys are great. No that's not good enough these guys are exceptional. I hired Hero Moving to move my stuff from Ewa to Hawaii Kai. The day of the move Hero was supposed to show up at 10am. At 8am a moving truck showed up claiming to be Hero (I had gotten a few quotes and given my information out to a few moving companies and there is one known for getting you to sign a bogus contract, loading your stuff and at the destination refusing to unload your stuff until you pay the thousands of dollars in the fine print). I didn't realize what was happening until they had my stuff on the

The guys who came to help us move, Victor, Eduardo, and Felipe, were an amazing team! They were kind and friendly, courteous, careful, and worked INCREDIBLY hard. They were efficient and fast. They were hit with some unexpected stuff and took it in stride. I was so impressed with this group. They made sure everything was extremely well protected and they packed their truck like Tetris pros!

I hired Hero Moving to move my 2 bedroom home from Oahu to Miami Florida. From the first phone call Gabe came out and did a on-site estimate and gave me a flat price. I have kids so there was a lot of things to pack in boxes. After 6 weeks everything arrived in my new house. We held high hopes for the best in choosing HERO moving company for our household move from Honolulu to Kona Hawaii.
Pros:- Offered the best (initial) price among all shippers. Great sales pitch.
Cons:
Confusing information provided regarding estimate, shipping/arrival schedule, and insurance.
Breakage of household items during packing.
Damage to NEW wood floors during packing.
Poor packing.
Damage to $10,000 Tempur-pedic mattress by movers kicking and abusing mattress to fit into a full transport truck.
Lack of communication
Poor information regarding shipping insurance

Wow, Life Savers!! The best decision was to hire these guys!! I had a short amount of time to move my business and they KILLED IT! In Two Days!! Every move has a different time frame and distance to go, but gosh they really handled everything for us! It would have taken my sister an I a month to do by ourselves. The team work made the dream work and I saved soo much energy and time hiring them. They left us with a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. I could dust my hands off early and say we did it!!

What a life saver, the original moving company we had coordinated with decided to not return my call. We then went online and requested for a mover and thankfully we got a fast response from business owner Gabriel. The price was surprisingly cheaper than other moving companies. The guys were fast and efficient, especially having to carry furniture down two flights of stairs and then up another flight of stairs. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company with great low prices.

We hired Hero moving to disassemble 2 sets of IKEA Pax wardrobes and move them into a new home to reassemble. Gabe is super professional and courteous and sent 3 of his crew to help out with this. At such short notice, this was all done same day and only took a couple of hours to complete the job! Highly recommended and will keep in mind for my future moves since we move a lot.

I found Hero Moving at the last minute because the company I normally use was booked on the day I needed them. Well, I am happy to say I have found my new go-to moving company. Gabe was in constant communication throughout the whole process. He promised good service, and his team delivered. They were on time, polite, friendly, worked fast, and worked hard. We used Hero Moving to help us unload our Matson shipping container from the mainland into our new Kailua townhouse. These guys are amazing! Their service was efficient, professional, courteous, and very friendly. We had some difficult challenges because the container was packed so full, but they managed to get everything out with Grace. They work well as a team and coordinated the move to be as smooth as possible. We highly recommend them for any island move!!!
