A new Bachelor wanted a modern and masculine place where he could entertain friends and family. He already had the table and chairs, and he wanted to keep them. We started by painting the space which dramatically changed the feel of the rooms. We spruced up the dining room with a light fixture, new fabric on the chairs, new mirror and lamps, new rug and new drapes.
In the living room we kept his sofa, chairs, and end tables. We continued with the same drapery fabric from the dining room for the drapes. The architectural element was the focal point. We added a new picture, new pillows, some moveable wooden cubes to use as a coffee table or ottoman. Duis mollis, est non commodo luctus, nisi erat porttitor ligula, eget lacinia odio sem nec elit.

From an early age, I have LOVED creating inviting and interesting spaces using color, texture and layout. I was fortunate to grow up with parents who gave me free reign of our home to experiment with paint colors and fabrics! During College, I was given the amazing opportunity to create and arrange displays for a major home decor store where I honed my skills working within a variety of styles and layouts.
Mary Kay took the time to understand our style and worked within our aesthetic, as opposed to trying to force on to us her own style. She helped us keep the style consistent throughout the house.
