AWFUL! I would never order furniture from this place again.
1. No hardware for dressers delivered to me. Hardware on 2 drawers
... Delivery guys said I would just need to go to Lowes... seriously?!
2. Four pieces I ordered that were absolutely necessary for my home were not delivered AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. Sorry? I was standing there confused why I didnt have a bed I needed to sleep in THAT NIGHT. They said the peices wont come in for 3 more months. Excuse me? No one could call me to tell me this prior to the delivery? If I had known this, I would have ordered something else or went elsewhere

Excellent and mindful service that is reminiscent of what I only can imagine shopping used to be like long ago. You go into the store feeling much more than just another consumer buying a piece of furniture, and are recognized as a person and/or family with needs and wants. The atmosphere is one of dedication towards providing great furniture at a great price- rather than a focus on the smoke and mirror display of showmanship to drive up profit margins. There is no manipulation tactics here! Just excellent service with quality and well priced furniture. I would highly recommend!

Terrible customer service. Most of their stock comes from Ashely Furniture, and at Ashley they'll do a price match and their customer service is great. Penland's gave me the run around for months and were awful to me. Ashley has quick, reliable delivery, and are willing to support their customers in any way they can. I don't know why anyone would shop here.

1-Year Warranty is a joke and communication is TERRIBLE.
We purchased our dining room set less than a year ago, and the top has already started to come off across the entire table. We called about a warranty fix/replacement and after a month of calls and failed call backs they are telling us it's our fault. They told us we must be using chemicals and it's our fault the top is coming off. We only use Norwex rags (meant to be used without chemicals) and have pads for hot dishes. This is clearly a defect they don't want to deal with. We expected more durability from a dining room set that was over

I have personally been shopping with Penland's for years. Having lived in 3 houses over the last decade they are my go to for my staple furniture and always outfitting my homes in style.
