Andy's Appliance Repair has been locally-owned and operated in Lincoln, NE since 1971. We are a 3rd generation company. Originally founded by George "Bud" Andrews and his wife Jane. In 1991 George and Jane sold the company to their son Terry and his wife Debbe. After 17 years Terry started teaching the Major Appliance Professional program at Southeast Community College and sold the company to their son Tanner.

I called Andy's to get my dryer fixed. Rick came out and replaced our heat elements. Rick was on time, introduced his self. He put shoe protectors on before entering in my home. Explained what the problem was. Gave me the price it would cost to repair. Cleaned up after he finished. Gave me a handshake and told me to have a nice weekend. Fast, Friendly and Affordable! These guys were great... I used them back in August right after I moved here. My dryer door latch malfunctioned... They were able to work with me on scheduling. They were very polite about it as I canceled twice with them. If I need an appliance repaired again, I will definitely call them right away. Great worker. Kind, polite, very helpful.

We called for dishwasher repair. They were at our house the next day. They called with a two hour window and came when they said they would. The gentleman that worked on our dishwasher was very polite and knowledgeable. They had to order the part and were back with the part two business days later. We are very happy with the service.

Great service and knowledgeable staff. Had them out to fix our 3 year old broken fridge, which they did and gave us some great advice to call Wihirlpool and request an extended warranty. I bought it for less then the repairs would have cost from Andy's and the service contract was through Andy's anyway so I got my fridge fixed, under the new warranty, and I have a new year warranty on my 3 year old fridge. Whirlpool only offers this program if your fridge is not to old, but it was a good deal for me. I was so mad my fridge stopped cooling after only 3 years, but the Andy's guy

We have generally been pleased with the service we've received from Andy's. The latest service, however, left us with one concern: the cost of their service.
They charged $218 to put in a $24 kit, which took easily less than an hour. That is pretty steep. I did some investigating on the internet afterwards and found that I could have easily done it myself (in fact, I ended up doing it myself after a the 2nd failure).
To Andy's credit, when the unit they installed also failed less than a month later, they installed another new fuse and thermostat at no charge. But it then failed

I have been using Andy's Appliance for past ten years and have been super-pleased with them 90% of time. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to narrow time down but that goes for many companies that come to your home.
It would be nice if they said early morning or late afternoon to help narrow that window down a bit. I always give them my cell phone and have them call me 20-30 minutes prior to arriving and since doing that I have been totally happy with appointment times. I am not 'stuck' at home for potentially 3 hours waiting for last appointment of the morning.

My landlord called this place to service my non-working oven. It's really hard to get an actual time out of these guys first off and I finally had to go for "sometime in the morning" or "sometime in the afternoon." The first day the guy came and didn't really seem to listen to me when I told him what was going on, he just kept rolling his eyes. He fiddled with the oven for 10 minutes and sat on his laptop for about an hour, then left without telling me anything. I found out from my landlord the thermostat needed replaced and we didn't know when they were coming

It's been a few months since I've needed appliance help but the last 3 times I've had a problem Andy's has been great.
If it breaks down it's going to be after hours or weekend right? Andy's answers the phone on alot of off hours.
They are also good if I ask if there is anything I can check for or repair myself. Occasionally I can handle it myself if not I know at least they didn't make a service call for something simple to fix.
