We hired Skyline to work on a Tree damage report that needed to be submitted to the City of Palo Alto.
After agreeing to pay $2000 upon the report approvals by the City of Palo Alto, we pay a $1000 deposit to Joel Valencia, who called himself as the Company Owner.
The report was rejected by the City and needed to be corrected by the Arborist. Trying to communicate and talk to Joel about the work was nearly impossible, he refused to work with us, claiming he didn't receive a payment

I requested a bid and provided requested photos. Was supposed to receive a call back. Never received call. I sent a text asking for an update. I was told my photos were not received. I then sent several additional photos and was told possibly phone issues and he would restart his phone. Again no return message or phone call.

Skyline did a great job on tree work (1 medium sized tree removal with stump grind, 1 tall/over 2 story high tree trimming from top down and general tree trimming for fire safety) abou a week ago. I cannot say enough good things about Edgar and his team from Skyline Tree Experts. When our neighbors in our very wooded area hired Edgar, he stopped by to ask us if should do ours at the same time (we have a house adjacent to his clients). These guys are awesome! Showed up on time completed the work quickly and efficiently, and charged a very competitive rate. I had them remove one very large tree in our backyard and and because they did such a great job with that had them come back a month later to trim some very large trees in my front yard. Watching their "climber" do his stuff is pretty amazing! I highly recommend Skyline Tree!

I contact 6 companies to give me a quote for trim a tree. 5 companies came , 1 no response. This company gave me the lowest price. And start trim the tree on second day. The owner sent five guys on first day and three on second day. All of them are very professional. Did a great job . After the job done,the worker clean the backyard. Over all, I am satisfied.

These guys were here ahead of schedule. And they didn't complain when I said I needed fifteen minutes to move my cars and get things ready for them.

What a mess! Skyline Tree Service lacks professionalism and decent courtesy to clean up after themselves. My front porch and stairway is covered with bits of tree, branch and sawdust, our car has a heavy layer of sawdust and scratches from tree bits being sprayed on it. Our windows on the side of our home also have a layer of sawdust.

2019 had Joel out again and he again did an excellent job. I pointed out whayt I thought I wanted and he suggested better solutions. One removal and alot of high up oak weight removal. One dead pine was too close to PG&E lines for him to do so he put me in touch with PG&E and they will do the removal. He deducted the estimate for that tree from the bill. I am recommending him to my neighbors on the Nextdoor App.
